Drake takes over atop the Billboard 200 albums chart and the Billboard Hot 100 songs survey (both dated July 14), shattering a host of records in the process.

In celebration of Drake's historic achievements, here is a list of some of the notable records he breaks this week.

Most Simultaneously Charted Hot 100 Titles

Drake charts an unprecedented 27 songs on the July 14 Hot 100, breaking his own record of 24 set when his last album, More Life, debuted atop the Billboard 200 on April 8, 2017. All 25 tracks from Scorpion land on the Hot 100, plus two additional entries not from the LP.

Most Simultaneous Hot 100 Top 10s

Drake breaks the prior record of five simultaneous Hot 100 top 10s by The Beatles, as he propels seven songs into the top 10. He rewrites the mark with "Nice for What" (No. 1), "Nonstop" (No. 2), "God's Plan" (No. 4), "In My Feelings" (No. 6), "I'm Upset" (No. 7), "Emotionless" (No. 8) and "Don't Matter to Me," featuring Michael Jackson (No. 9).

The Beatles dominated the entire top five of the Hot 100 on April 4, 1964, with, in order from No. 1 to No. 5, "Can't Buy Me Love," "Twist and Shout," "She Loves You," "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and "Please Please Me." The following week, the same five songs placed between Nos. 1 and 9. (Still, the Beatles remain the only act to monopolize the Hot 100's entire top five in a week.)

Most Top 10 Hot 100 Debuts in a Week

With four debuts in the Hot 100's top 10 ("Nonstop," "In My Feelings," "Emotionless" and "Don't Matter to Me"), Drake is the first act with that many arrivals in the bracket in a week. He passes J. Cole, who debuted three songs in the top 10 on May 5, as parent album KOD launched atop the Billboard 200: "ATM" (No. 6), "Kevin's Heart" (No. 8) and the title track (No. 10).

Most Top 10 Hot 100 Debuts Ever

Those four top 10 Hot 100 debuts up Drake's career count to 16 arrivals in the top tier. In doing so, he moves from two such titles behind Taylor Swift to two above, as she has launched 14 songs in the Hot 100's top 10.

Most Hot 100 Top 10s Among Solo Males

With five new Hot 100 top 10s ("Nonstop," "In My Feelings," "I'm Upset," "Emotionless" and "Don't Matter to Me"), Drake ups his career total to 31 Hot 100 top 10s, passing Michael Jackson for the most among solo males.

Still, Jackson adds his 30th Hot 100 top 10, via his featured turn on "Matter," which is built around an unreleased Jackson track (and is now being promoted as a single to pop radio). Madonna holds the record among all acts, with 38, followed by The Beatles. (34). Drake and Rihanna now share third place (31 each), with Jackson fifth with 30.

Most Total Top 20 Hot 100 Hits

Drake additionally passes Elvis Presley for the most top 20 hits in the Hot 100's history, which dates to its Aug. 4, 1958, inception. With nine new such songs, Drake ups his total to 55 top 20 hits, passing Presley's 48 for the record.

Most Simultaneous Top 20 Hot 100 Hits

Drake breaks Post Malone's record of nine simultaneous top 20 hits, with 12 this week. Malone had held the mark of nine since the May 12-dated chart, when his beerbongs & bentleys bowed atop the Billboard 200.

Most Total Top 40 Hot 100 Hits

Likewise, Drake passes Presley for the most top 40 hits in the Hot 100's archives. With a fresh batch of 17, Drake swells his total to 91, passing Presley's 80.

Most Simultaneous Top 40 Hot 100 Hits

Sensing a pattern here? Drake breaks Post Malone's prior record of 14 simultaneous top 40 Hot 100 hits, with 21 this week. Malone set the previous mark of 14 on the May 12-dated chart.

That's the classic formula. Louis Armstrong did it. Walmart did it. Drake unapologetically does it.

Every time he does a feature with an up & coming new artist he's taking notes.

This dude has an uncanny ability to make music people just really like. He lacks the classic album like Kendrick and Cole has but goddammit he just has a whole lot of shit you just like, whether it's his joint or a feature.

Drake has the soul of a hoe with abandonment issues. That why he connects with his fan base the way he does. He's as if Cosmo, Teenbeat, and Sister 2 Sister combined and became a rapper. What Pusha T did was get to the source of his flawed integrity. And to many hoes and hoe ass niggas, integrity is equal to the end result of successfully turning a trick. Real integrity is expendable and somethimg you don't really need when it's all about escapism and validation for silly shit from silly people.

I'm not saying this just to shit on him. Of course you can accomplish what he's accomplished when there are so many entities invested in your success and you are talented enough put the right people around you for the most part.

:roflmao::roflmao3::giggle: @ coven of witches.

I'm too old to keep up with modern music, but I guess Drake is killing it.

Damn bro, Drake taking that L really got you feeling all kinds of ways.

Drake Just Broke a Historic Record Set by the Beatles

Drake just can’t stop making history. After setting new global benchmark with a record billion streams for an album in one week, Scorpion has now all but monopolized the Billboard Hot 100. Drake has debuted four new songs from the album in the Top 10 this week — a first for any artist ever.

What L did he take?

Is he allowed to reply to Pusha yet?

What L did he take?

Depends on what you believe. If you believe Drake has an obligation to respond to every rapper coming at him I guess you can say PushaT. If you believe it’s stupid as fuck to feed into that narrative and continue to do you there were no “Ls” given. Pusha spoke. The public responded. Time for another disgruntled dude to give it a try. Then another. Then another. (lol) All this money on the table and they think going after this singing rapper is the way to make it? Whatever.....

There is a old saying money cannot buy respect or love.

Drake can break all kind of records, does not mean i respect him as a man!. In my eyes he is weak and still bitch made. Which is why his music connects with this generation!.

Congratulations on more success to drake. But after Pusha T, I can't roll with somebody that can't even stand up for himself. He has to hide behind another man!. After all that talk on records!

Isn’t success the best revenge?

Why are Drake fans so fuckin moist :smh:

Muthafuckas even whine and cry over diss songs. Nobody was saying this bullshit when Drake was dissing Meek.

Interesting. We’re cut differently. I personally don’t give a fuck about mouthy niggas. I do care about my family/money. I’m an older dude and this whole I got to respond to every pussy muthafucka (and there are a lot of them) stuff wreaks of femininity, not masculinity. That emotional response stuff is chick shit.

He’s a self-described singing nigga. (lol) Be honest. Y’all still mad he stomped Meek’s lights out and have been praying for some other artist to try again. (lol) So this dude should stop building his shit to address every muthafucka who hate his music or success? Rap money isn’t long term for most. Why waste time on that shit?

Jew machine behind him. Also he has mastered the make music bitches can dance to formula. He lost a few black female fans after finding that he impregnated a strong faced Becky, but the majority forgivexand forget
