Drake to Executive Produce New HBO Series ‘Euphoria’

If they plan on doing a spinoff like it's rumored they may as well get Jojo Siwa to star since she now in her "showing out" phase :roflmao2:

So she switching teams now :lol:

She doesn't know what team she's on, lol.

The cast was already too old to play teenagers; now they've definitely aged out of it.

Stranger Things and Euphoria definitely waited too long for their follow ups. They’ll still get big ratings. Almost makes you wonder if Stranger Things would have been best to just film 20 - 30 eps back in the day in a year or two ... then just chop it into shorter seasons over the course of 4 - 6 years.

I.E. - doing 5 eps per season, instead of several years off in between with the feature length running times occasionally.

Interesting.

Season 2 last aired in Feb. 2022.

Season 3 begins airing over 4 years later in April 2026.

The first season of Euphoria premiered on June 16, 2019, and concluded on August 4, consisting of eight episodes. Two one-hour specials were broadcast in December 2020 and January 2021. The eight-episode second season premiered on January 9, 2022, and concluded on February 27. That month, the series was renewed for a third season. The third season was initially expected to enter production in December 2023, but was halted due to the 2023 Hollywood labor disputes and the unexpected deaths of Angus Cloud and executive producer Kevin Turen. Filming for the third season ultimately began in February 2025 and wrapped later that November. It is set to premiere in April 2026.

Angus Cloud's mother is suing the legal team that she claimed filed "false and frivolous claims" against the late Euphoria star's estate.

Lisa Cloud, mother of Conor Angus Cloud Hickey, filed a new lawsuit on Nov. 5 against a Sacramento law firm. The civil complaint alleges that attorneys Michael Hackard, Brian Geremia, and their firm Hackard Law allegedly "filed false and frivolous claims" against Angus' estate, "generating attorney’s fees and extracting settlement," causing "emotional distress, including anxiety, depression, sleeplessness, panic attacks, and prolonged grief." Lisa claimed she has been forced to spend more than $64,000 in legal fees defending the estate of her only child, whose assets totaled around $50,000.

"This case is about accountability and fairness," Lisa told PEOPLE exclusively. "My goal has always been to protect my son's legacy and the integrity of his estate from wrongful legal actions that caused unnecessary harm and distress... I have a great respect for the court system and for the many honest attorneys who work with compassion and integrity. I simply believe no family should have to endure this kind of abuse of process after losing a loved one. I'm seeking resolution and dignity, truth and respect."

That's the thing iirc none of them were "teens" that first season but they were believable as teens...... now a lot of them are pushing 30 and no longer believable as teens. Especially since they've all done numerous projects in the last 7 years.

This show had so much potential and hype. But damn Covid, behind the scenes drama and time really have fucked it up.
