DonovN Mitchell Letting the World know He Pissed Off

I've made that same argument myself. Injuries are a part of the game and being injured during you're rookie campaign is par for the course. The next recruited class shouldn't have to compete with you.

What is he mad about? He ain’t better then Simmons
I can't read the hoodie but id imagine it has something to do with him being the best rookie in this class but since Ben Simmons didn't play last year he's considered a rookie.

He shouldn't count. Go give him last year's trophy. That rookie class conceded it.

Somebody should explain to Mitchell the definition of "Playing"...
Thank you Bruh.... people who use that shit as a reason are hilarious... They PLAYED the same amount of actual games. I would even buy into Mitchell to a point if their overall statistics were even close, but Ben SHITS on him in EVERY Category except scoring, and thats because Donovan shoots like 3 times as much as only avg 3-4 points more. EVERY other category isn't even close. You have a lot of gunning low percentage shooters running around the league, but not many at all who can completely dominate a game in as many facets as Simmons. Donovan ain't scoring he is a liability and not giving you shit! Ben on the other hand.... nevermind, like Ben said, those who know the game already know...

"Rookie: An athlete playing his or her first season as a member of a professional sports team". For all the old half blind ass people.

If you are drafted and stashed overseas but do not play a minute of NBA ball. You are considered a rookie. If you are a d or g league player if does not matter until you play a minute if an NBA game can you be considered a rookie (see Hassan Whiteside) or if injured before the seasin startand never play a minute in the regular season you are considered a rookie.

Blake Griffin already won ROY in Simmons situation. Mitchell is just a dumb kid.

:ssshhh:

I'm one of the old and blind ones. I simply don't like the wording of the rule. I think it gives the player an unfair advantage over the next class. He has an additional year to learn his team's plays, team film room and scouting reports and considering when he gets healthy he has access to team trainers and physicians. He has the privilege of sitting the bench an entire season and learning the game before actually getting out on the floor. He has access to professional coaches his entire "injured rookie" session. Now if he was injured and only rehabed then all things would be equal.

Mitchell got game but he ain't better than Ben regardless of what year Ben is in
Nobody's saying that.
Everyone knows the rules. It's just bullshit this nigga was on a team and even played summer league ball in 2016. He spent his whole 2016 rookie season learning the game and having a redshirt year and when it was time to come back the 76ers sat him so they could tank.

No doubt based on the rules Simmons deserves ROY. Boy was putting up triple doubles in his rookie campaign. But for someone who been in the league two years....he was suppose to look this good.

People sleeping on Mitchell now but he came in his rookie year and dominated his rookie class.

Right. While these dudes were in college this guy was already on a team developing. He had a advantage no doubt.

Well according to his hoodie Simmons is a rookie.
Yeah. He basically made the case for Simmons by wearing that dumb ass shit. :smh:
