this leaves you no money for clothes, emergency cab fare, emergency cash, cash to spare on the ladies, entertainment cash, money to upgrade your pc, money to go out of town, money to rent a car, strip club money.
this also leaves you no cash to upgrade the house when someone special is coming over (new sheets, new comforter)
this also leaves no money for quarterly carpet cleaning.
or whatever other natural expenses one might need.
even after taxes, 35,000 leaves you with shit. and some of those expenses were BARE MINIMUM especially rent, utilities and personal expenses. 35,000 for a single person in NYC is
SURVIVAL of the fittest basically. it is not living comfortably
be my guest. feel free to alter the above as YOU see fit and redo the math as YOU see fit
this goes for anyone who feels the need to correct it, not pointing anyone out particularly
