Two things:
  • The US shouldn't be dropping bombs in Mexico.
  • Mexico needs to take care of their cartel problem.
Easy to say on paper or on a message board but it's more nuanced. I do find it interesting as posted about by @Mixd that this new Mexican President hasn't been targeted by the cartels, but who knows, perhaps she has and we just don't know it.

I don't want to see US drone striking people south of our border, but at the same time, I'm not in a hurry to visit.

Let Mexicans handle it, unless they ask for direct help. We don't need to be fighting wars so close to home.
There are nazis on the police force.

Their entire military and police are all cartel owned, as well as the govt. Everyone is on the take unfortunately.
For many it's either take this money or take this bullet. Choice is clear for those still around.

So look at how she treads lightly on many policies when it comes to going hard on cartels. She was groomed to take that office.
That wouldn't surprise me

It would get interesting quickly. Mexican cartels are active in a lot cities in the US.

I have a friend who is a lawyer. He was telling me about some guys that were found bound in a circle and beheaded. They were loosely involved with the cartel. He went on to say shit like that happens more than you think, but it is kept out of the news.

Cartels are no joke. When I lived in Orlando, I had a Cuban friend (Angel Fernandez Jr) who moved up from Miami as a kid. His fathered died in a Miami Beach hotel bathroom while doing a drug deal that went bad. Let's just say chainsaws were involved....

Wasn't a Mexican cartel though, they were Columbians.

Reminds me of one of my favorite scenes from Scarface.

Drones will only antagonize cartels and increase retaliatory attacks on civilians. Cartels can afford their own deadly drones.
Mexican cartels are too powerful to get Bukele'd so locking up every pandillero is out the question.
US can change law, decriminalize drugs and corporatize it. Hit cartels in the pockets to weaken them.

Mexico can expel all Americans living and visiting their country. Mexico gets visitors from Europe, Canada and other S. American countries, so they’ll be alright. The US is hated all around the world right now so all sentiment will be on Mexicos side as well.
This is flexing by Trump and his boys, and knowing how they just handled this tariff bullshit, ain’t no way they can handle a cartel.
