Feeling nostalgic. Been here since On Probation days. I think of all the real world stuff this site has provided over the years and was like wow. We used to get albums months before release, movies pre-release, every program imaginable, any courses of value plus more nekked women than anything.

Jokes, Retlaw, The Remix stories, Trashman pre-news lol, the Borski tales Lol

Just want to shout out the community! This place is like your neighborhood bar with so many characters and contributors. You are appreciated!
 
Yup, I've been here since the late 90's!!

There was a hiccup with the database and the board was relaunched, so I had to join again, it shows my join year of 2004 but I've been here long before then.

Back when it was 56K dial up from a home phone!

Don't know how many times my downloads would get interrupted from an incoming call knocking me off line.
 
Back when lurkers would kill download links that required a password.

Someone came up with a way to disguise the password using binary.

Lurkers would be pissed they couldn't decipher binary to text.

Back when Nokia phones dropped, straight game changer with mobile phones. Everyone waiting till 7pm to make calls cause that's when free minutes would start.

Same. Not even sure how I even found this place way back when. I think it was those Stripclub videos shot at The Wedge in Hunts Point. Lol I dunno
 
Doesn't bother me either.. A lot of forums I'm on I've been there for 20+ years.

I registered here in 2005, but I remember being on the "old" site before that. That means I would've been on this site in my early teens which is entirely possible.

I didn't need this site for warez tho.. that's when IRC was kicking. We'd join the RNS and EGO channels waiting for the next album to drop.. those were the good days.

This! I was gonna put a G on that shit. I remember getting frustrated tryna set up a wallet to buy Ripple coin or some shit., that you then had to use to buy Bitcoin. Gave up trying. Shit still pisses me off til this day.

Been on since 05, mostly lurking.

I couldn't get Coinbase to start for me.... kept fucking up when I tried to put in my DL..... so I thought that it was a scam....back when BC was at $14k ... :hmm:

$14k shiiit it was under $500 when I saw it here. I had money set aside to buy a mining rig which got cancelled and I never put the money back into just coins. You live and learn.

You aint lying but there were so many get rich quick pyramid schemes posted here I just blew it off . Mistake of a lifetime. Those were the days when 1 to 2 minute videos were the bomb.
