Listen as Neil deGrasse Tyson explains how the more education people achieve, the less likely they are to believe in religion. I would love for someone to explain why that occurs. Why is it that the less education you have, the more likely you are to buy into religion? Take Africa, for example. The least educated continent on planet Earth. Sorry, but facts are facts. And Africa is, by the way, the MOST religious continent on Earth. The whole thing rings counterintuitive. One would assume that if religion had any redeeming merits then the smartest people would be first to realize that and be first to endorse the practice. But the truth is 100% the total opposite.
Anybody got an answer? If I get no useful answer, I'm left to assume that it's apparently true that science starts with questions and seeks answers while religion starts with answers and rejects questions.
