So do you comprehend that people were said to have traveled that far?
You just said it's a LONG ass way for a human to comprehend, what about a long ass way for a human to travel.
Also, it has been argued about 5 times in THIS thread that you can see the landers and rovers from earth with a relatively cheap telescope ($4000 or so).
and i've asked TWICE for someone to post a pic of that And every time, whom ever has said that these things are visible, has no response to the subject anymore
So for the third time........SOMEONE POST A PIC OF THE ROVER, LANDER, MISSION, VIEWED FROM A TELESCOPE ON EARTH.

Actually, I do know regarding temps on the moon that it can vary between 200+ degrees F to -200 depending if you are in direct sunlight or shade. And it is possible to skip off the Earth's Atmosphere or miss it all together if coming in with the wrong trajectory.
Thanks for that picture. I need to find one of the orbital path for orbital entry for the moon. Some guy (i believe it was Benjamin or someone) said you can't miss the earth on reentry. And then he said i must not have finished middle school science class.
I'm reading up on the China moon missions. Their probe is in orbit as we speak. And they plan to land there soon.

Well, I'm done in this thread too. You can't debate with cats that don't come back with hard evidence. They come with their own opinions. Stuff like, well why didn't they go back (even though it was posted 1 hundred times in the thread they went back several times) or where are the tapes or it's too hot, even though that gets refuted. A rocket can get to the moon in like 7 days, I believe. It ain't that far of a trip. But just because I can drive from Cleveland to D.C. in 7 hours and my boy can see the capital dome from his crib doesn't mean I should be able to see the dome from Cleveland too. The argument was (and you know this already, your just assuming some of the dumber cats will buy into the "ownage" game because their IQ's are too low to even know what the fuck we're talking about) that since you can supposedly read a newspaper over my shoulder with a spy satellite, why can't you turn that same satellite and look at the rover, well, the newspaper is like 10 miles away, the rover is like 250 THOUSAND MILES AWAY. As far as rover pics go, dude posted the best you are gonna see until China takes orbital or surface pics. Like I said above, 250 THOUSAND miles is a long way off and ithe rover is like 1/1,000,000 the size of the moon surface. Cats watch WAY too much Star Trek, we don't have ANYTHING powerful enough to see some shit that small on a surface THAT BIG that far away. You act like they took a picture of a single rock on jupiter dog. That little spot they always show on Jupiter is like 10x the size of EARTH. That little face lookin' thing on Mars is like the size of Mt. Ranier. The dust clouds and shit the Hubble takes pics of are GALAXIES with BILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF STARS and MILLIONS OF LIGHT YEARS across (that means it takes a beam travelling at the speed of light MILLIONS OF YEARS to cross what you see as a little dust cloud). China is interested i the moon because China is trying to establish itself as an economic and technological (and by default military, although they gotta be more subtle about that these days) superpower. It's the EXACT same reason we went in the 60's and the same reason Russia started the space race (it's also a good way to prove you have the rocket power and guidance system knowledge to lob a nuke at a mufukka).

Well you need to talk to some of your fellow landing believers, because you aren't agreeing on the whole telescope thing. Some say you can see it clearly with a telescope, and others say no way possible. Sounds like more of that quick to believe anything stuff to me....

NASA released the first glimpses of a complete digital make-over of the original landing footage that clarifies the blurry and grainy images of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walking on the surface of the moon.
The full set of recordings, being cleaned up by Burbank, California-based Lowry Digital, will be released in September. The preview is available at www.nasa.gov.
NASA admitted in 2006 that no one could find the original video recordings of the July 20, 1969, landing.
Since then, Richard Nafzger, an engineer at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland, who oversaw television processing at the ground-tracking sites during the Apollo 11 mission, has been looking for them.
The good news is he found where they went. The bad news is they were part of a batch of 200,000 tapes that were degaussed -- magnetically erased -- and re-used to save money

The reason I believe it was fake is because I was onboard Nuclear Submarines and when working topside you always had to be attached to a safety line...even if you were a expert swimmer tied along side the dock...so why in the fuck are you not at least tethered to something and floating (using a propulsion device to move)so your ass wouldnt get lost in Space
the moon does have gravity, not as strong as Earths' but strong enough to not allow someone to get lost in space. No one was going to float anywhere.
