I thought about this while I was writing out a "why do guys wear tons of jewelery thread" which I didn't post.
I personally don't understand why people waste money on jewelery, but especially engagement rings, because so often they are incredibly expensive, and you're not gonna wear them that long, compared to how long you'll wear the wedding band *unless you're like half of married couples and you get divorced.*
So, do you expect an expensive engagement ring? What's that bs rule, the ring has to be 1/4th the mans salary?
