Who are they caping for? The local people who are suffering b/c the people who own the franchise fucked up? I don't even think it's that easy to just change your franchise agreement either, so what the fuck are they supposed to do? :smh:
So then they DO have something to do with BP, right?? That's why they getting boycotted by me...you must not have understood my point

it's the nature of business...good times/hard times...when gas was $5.00 a gallon they was laughin all the way to the bank

Just like when the drug dealer's wife got new cars, new rims, new everything one week ... and next week she getting shot at or going to jail ... I ain't gonna cry about it ... it's unfortunate but that ain't on me

Man, don't pay that fool any attention. He's finally getting good at tying his shoes.

Fine keep your cape on :dunno:

Just stop actin so whiny DAMN :smh:

I go to whichever gas stations have free air from a hose that goes through the motherfucking wall and is attached to an industrial sized air-tank/compressor. If a gas station has the small chintzy freestanding air compressors, even if they are free, they can kiss my black ass.

QFT. A friend of mine owns a BP and the gas he purchases comes from another family owned business in the area. Hell, it's not even BP gas. It's some Jackleg Jenkins type shit.

Coraluzzo, SMO trucks etc. Will fill up the tanks at 3 or 4 different stations with different names with the same truck. They tend to go a couple of miles away when they go to a different branded station.

Nigga, getting a tire plugged doesn't cost much.

I still buy from BP because the gas stations are independently own and with the oil spill there rates are now competitive in NYC.

NO. I buy Citgo almost exclusively mainly because Hugo Chavez has held down the price more than greedy ass Exxon, Shell, BP and others; and because Chavez annually donates home heating oil to those in the Northeast who deparately need it but can't afford it. :hmm:

That shit pisses me off too..:angry:
I remember air used to be free everywhere. I can never find that shit now. I got a compressor in my garage now..

As for gas..like somebody else said you don't know what you are buying anyway..

One day I was coming out of the Holland Tunnel going into NJ. Wanted to fill up, so I stopped at the cheapest no-name station. They were out of regular, and mid grade..only had premium. So I go to the next, and the next...come to find out ALL 6 or 7 of the gas stations were out.
At the last station..I'm talking to the guy like WTF..he says the tanker didn't come today. I was like "you mean all ya'll get gas from the same tanker"..:eek::hmm:

he just laughed..

Something else ya'll might not know..there is no real silver/midgrade/89 octane. The stations get two grades from the tankers. Regular and Premium. They are blended to make 89.

...Now Put Your Capes Away

No one is caping for BP, I'd love to see all oil companies go out of business once an alternative is perfected. You're just letting your emotions get the best, causing you to make irrational decisions.

BP=Huey
You=Granddad
Riley=Independent BP station owner

Typical American stupidity. Your point is meaningless because you're changing nothing, and gas stations make more money off the food they sell than off of gas. Remember they have to buy the gas before they sell it to you, so if a gas station owner is forced to buy at a higher price, then of course they're going to pass the cost on to the consumer. That's basic economics.

While it might make you feel good to think you're apart of a boycott, these are the facts:

1. You cannot boycott BP because they have their money in necessities, that you probably take for granted every day. Aluminum, lubricant, rubber, asphalt, ect, or in other words you cannot claim to boycott a company while simultaneously using their other products.

2. Boycotting hard working citizens who didn't cause the spill is meaningless, and downright stupid. If Americans really want to make a difference, they'd vote people in who actually WANT to reduce oil consumption, instead of corporate shills who want to stall innovation.

LOL@ you clowns and your fake outrage. BP doesn't own those gas stations, independent owners do, so you're only hurting people who are trying to make a decent living while the guys at the top(who are the real problem) chill on their $20 million yachts laughing their asses off at you, unaffected.

The fact of the matter is, you cant boycott BP because their oil is in everything! From the aluminum in your house, to the asphalt you drive on to get to work. You're outrage would be better directed at your government for being at the mercy of Oil, instead of putting money toward perfecting the necessary technology to drastically reduce the amount consumed.

Exactly...!!!
There are no choices.. just the illusion of them...!!!:hmm:

I stay in the A, so the #1 gas station is Quicktrip (a lot bigger gas stations an cheaper gas)

closely followed by Racetrac
