I'm researching diet pills and I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions about a good one. I'm trying to get rid of this pooch and a few extras pounds I gained from having my son. I already work out but I want something to enhance the fat burn.

Do any of you have any experience with some good diet pills?

I don't want anything that's gonna make me jittery or change my emotional state.

Any help is appreciated.

Change your diet and exercise. Forget the pills. If it were that easy I would still weight 180.

You really have to disipline yourself.

Watch what and how much you eat.

Hunger and how much you feel you have to eat is more mental than physical.

forget the pills they will mess you up. instead, increase your water intake substantially to inbetween 1/2 to a full gallon a day and eat many small snacks every 2 hours or so instead of large meals. this will speed up your metabolism alot.

I forgot to mention, cut out all soda and sweet drinks. If you must drink fruit juice, water it down. Also, try to substantially lower your sodium intake as it makes you retain alot of water.

Oh I don't drink sodas at all. I drink water all day. I don't need no high-fructose corn syrup shit in my body.:)

maybe increasing you exercise routine to 4 or 5 days a week would help.

How much cardio are you doing and for how long? Do you switch it up?

The Short List

Water
Chicken Breasts
Oatmeal
Green Veggies

Cardio

Discipline

For any other info., check the fitness forums

The jitters are nothing to laugh at. When I was taking Lipo 6 about 2 years ago I had a gym session where I thought I was going to pass out my heart was beating so fast.

4-6 pills a day? do you just have to take that many daily or is it with every meal?

also...drinking a lot of water, with proper food and working out 2x's a day seems like it will take off mad weight w/o the use of pills

have u tried doing the same regimine w/out the pills to see if that works?

:smh:
1. He's man. His body will drop weight differently than yours.
2. I used them in high school and what happens is it'll burn muscle as well as fat which will make it hard for you to burn fat and to keep off the weight you lost already.
And I was working out I had cheerleading practice three times a week and gymnastics once a week....
3. You'll gain the weight back once you stop the pills.

I know where you are coming from and i know some might not agree with me but hey..i gotta help a sister with little info that i have

check out these pills:

1)SAN TIGHT

2)alli (http://www.allipills.com/)

3)Taraxatone (not very sure about this)

I would go for alli

I am in UK at the moment and Govt (through NHS)does give out prescribed weight loss pills..not sure about names but will check out with someone who works in the NHS

But please do more research on side effects before you buy anything

I wouldn't do the Alli. It works but the side effects are bad.

A lot of people eat bad and experience bad side effects like diarrhea, etc.

But even if you eat a healthy diet there will still be some flatulence, oily discharge.

What are treatment effects?

alli™ works by preventing the absorption of some of the fat you eat. The fat passes out of your body, so you may have bowel changes, known as treatment effects. You may get:

* gas with oily spotting
* loose stools
* more frequent stools that may be hard to control

What to expect

The excess fat that passes out of your body is not harmful. In fact, you may recognize it as something that looks like the oil on top of a pizza. Eating a low-fat diet lowers the chance of these bowel changes. Limit fat intake in your meals to an average of 15 grams.

A lot of people don't know but this is the same drug that was given to people morbidly obese to help lose weight. It's just half of the strength. It should be used in people who want to lose a substantial amount of weight.

I run for 20 minutes and then I do some light weights. But I will try to make time to work out more during the week.

That doesn't really seem very healthy but I can see it working. I did that right after I had my son along with the atkins diet. Walk 4 miles in the morning and 4 miles at night, dropped the pounds super fast but as soon as I stopped they crept back on that's why I was looking for a different route. But thank you for your input.

I did a lot of online and alli actually was the best option as far I saw but I wanted a second opinion. I will do some research on the other pills you listed. Thanks.

ok yeah 20 minutes isn't enough .... ur heart is really just getting pumped.

You need to do at least 30 minutes to get ur heart pumpin and MAINTAIN ur weight.

if your trying to lose/burn extra stuff you have to do 60-90minutes 4x's a week.

my daughters mom has been on some shit where she loses like 7lbs per week but the shit ain't healthy.

she won't eat anything and her sleeping patterns are beyond fucked.

if your less than 150lbs they won't even give you the pills due to the risk that you might die.

exercise

I really wouldn't pay attention to what alot of these men say in regards to belly fat because it is different for men and women.

God intended for women to carry weight in our bellies and hips to bear children.

So this means we have to work doubly hard to get rid of the gut.

First thing, diet. You can ask any bodybuilder, fitness competitor, or physical trainer and they will tell you that it's 90% diet.

Now there are things you can do to get your metabolism at its peak and there is nothing wrong with taking a metabolic enhancer to do so. I am taking BSN's Atrophex right now but a co-worker suggested Venom so I am looking into that.

Some other things you can do is increase your water intake. When I was drinking 1-2 gallons of water a day my belly disappeared. It's strange but it works. Of course I drank that in the course of working out 3x a day and in between my 8 meals which bring me to my next point.

Increase the number of meals and decrease the portions. My trainer says for every 3 hours you are up, you should have something to eat. Not a 5 course meal. But something high in protein with a tiny bit of carbs.

Add cayenne pepper to your diet and a grapefruit a day. Cayenne increases your internal body temperature which helps to boost your metabolism and grapefruit has fat burning properties.

Weights. Why lots of women stay away from weight training is beyond me. It is truly the most effective way to lose weight, IMO. Work legs 2-3 times a week since legs are the biggest muscle in your body, you will burn more overall.

Cardio. Lots of women will do 1 hour of cardio and call it a day. It's better to split that in 2. If you can do 2-3 30 minute sessions of cardio you will keep your body burning calories all day.

exercise and if you want to change your diet a little just kill the liquid calories first (starbucks, soda, 0 and drink water with your meals instead. Then try involving some yogurt in your diet because those yogurt cultures will actually improve food digestion so you have less of a backup in your body and less fat will be stored in the long term.
