Derrick Rose just skipped the Knicks game tonite?

Didn't yall niggas just post his girl pictures!?!? That Nigga prolly swimming in the cheeks.... She is a baddie

And a young attention whore, based off her IG page. He should drop her from his team after 7-8 nuts. She seems like the type that will blow yo spot up.

Btw...they said he was at the morning shoot around earlier today....so he's somewhere around. No big deal...imho.

When he comes back it still wont matter. Rose is basically performing for a check. Benching him (and making him look like a "problem") is fucking with his money during a contract year. The Knicks looking medicore like they were last year is fucking with his money as well. So I can understand why he would be frustrated. He may skip a day, but he'll be back. I doubt he wants to look like a emotional bitch during a contract year.

Btw...if the Knicks do give him a deal after this year...its all good. That organization should be used to being exploited just because their in a big city. I mean Melo and Noah fucked the Knicks out of a paycheck way before Rose even came around.

Unfortunately this feels like a developing 30 for 30 episode. Dude has really fallen off in damn near every way since his MVP season... Well on his way to what might have been status. Dude needs to surround himself with more mature people with common sense. That he's young shit has expired at this point. Hope he gets his shit right and doesn't start a real downward spiral.

Seems like a nice enough Dude... His post MVP career actually hurts a little bit... :smh:

I know what you meant, but claiming them shits make you a world champion is like claiming beating NBA Live makes you a world champion.
So only Olympics mean something when it's basically the same shit with out the nbc coverage and all that other fuckery

He played against the world greatest players from different countries.

So I guess Brandon Roy stole money too. Rose was insane before that first injury. Getting hurt is not his fault. Since him and Westbrook play the same I guess we'll be saying the same about him soon

I won't go as far as to say stole money. But after the first injury it was obvious he wasn't really trying to come back a play. Not mad at him, it's just a game and your bread is guaranteed. But, you get hurt end of 1 season. Don't even give it a shot 10-12 months later, even though you're balling in practice??? Ok, cool.

Then he gets hurt start of next season. Not his fault, but another wasted year. Tries to come back and play through it. Showed flashes but not the same.

Next year gets elbowed in the eye and goddman man. Not his fault but fuck. Is the kid ever gonna get healthy and stay that way. All the while he's saying shit in the media that leads you to belive his heart ain't really in it anymore. But he's trying to get this money. Again, no hate. But... It was obvious he needed to play somewhere else. So I can understand some people's frustration with him. I personally don't care. But he needs to be media savvy enough to give off the illusion he gives a shit, or the media is gonna roast him.

Then why the fuck are u talking to me?

Rose > maurbury period

Nigga played 2 seasons fully and signed for 5. Raped the Knicks period
I didn't bring up Marbury you did Sir... I never said he was better than Rose. I just asked a question but I don't want any problems with you Sir... I realize you are very emotional right now so I'll give you your space...

Phil Jackson era hits rock bottom as Derrick Rose goes AWOL and Knicks implosion is under way
FRANK ISOLA JAN 10, 2017 12:07 AM

We've certainly come a long way from Derrick Rose declaring over the summer that the Knicks were in fact a "super team."

Of course, the Knicks always win in July and August. They make moves, spend outrageous sums of money, puff their chests and announce that they're back. Even some naïve fans and media types buy it.

And then the games start. And when the NBA requires that teams are judged by wins and losses, the Knicks always fall woefully short.

On Monday, they arrived at rock bottom in the Phil Jackson era. And that's saying something considering that two years ago the Zen Master gave you a team that produced a franchise worst 17 wins.

This is different. Jackson built the 2016-17 Knicks to win now. Instead, they are imploding.

Rose, the point guard on a free agent contract push, decided to go AWOL prior to Monday's 110-96 loss to New Orleans at the Garden. The feeling is that Rose, who has been miserable here for a few weeks, is pouting and needed to take some time off. Carmelo Anthony isn't that thrilled with the state of the Knicks either. He waited until the third quarter to bail on his teammates. Kyle O'Quinn capped the night with a cheap shot on Anthony Davis.

The final tally is eight losses in nine games, the unhappy point guard AWOL, the frustrated superstar ejected and the bratty role player kicked out. Just lovely.

The mystery surrounding Rose's absence will eventually be solved. The Daily News reported late Monday that Rose attended the team's morning practice in Westchester and from all indications was scheduled to show up at the Garden and be the starting point guard.

Phil Jackson is present for Monday's game, unlike his point guard

And then just like that he disappeared. The Knicks had no idea where he was or why he left. The feeling was that Rose returned to his hometown of Chicago for a family matter. A team source claims that Rose was not injured and not in danger.

Rose must have a reasonable explanation for an unexcused absence. Depending on the story, there is a good chance that Rose will be suspended for one game. Or that least that's what the Knicks should do.

Reports of the relationship between Rose and head coach Jeff Hornacek being frayed are accurate. Rose was benched in the fourth quarter against both Milwaukee and Indiana.

Rose wants to strike it rich in free agency this summer. It's been his obsession for two years now. Being benched for a losing team is not a good look. Maybe this will lead to Rose asking for a trade. Or perhaps even a buyout.

A source close to Rose denies that Rose and Hornacek got into an argument following Saturday's loss to the Pacers but admitted that they had been at odds in recent weeks.

Hornacek didn't shed much light on the situation during his postgame press conference although he looked like a guy who regrets ever agreeing to a sit down with Jackson last May.

While Rose went AWOL, Jackson was also missing. He attended Monday's game but he elected not to address the media regarding the whereabouts of a player that he acquired last June.

Rose could be trying to force his way out of New York

It was classic Jackson; the invisible team president whose inflated bank account is matched only by his inflated opinion of himself. All you need to know about Jackson as a team president and leader is that he left it to the head coach to answer questions about a situation that is above Hornacek's pay grade.

This is the type of culture Jackson has created at the Garden. There is zero accountability; for him, Rose and Anthony, who leads the NBA in being thrown out of games.

Garden Chairman James Dolan was said to be upset on Monday and rightfully so. He is paying Jackson a fortune to turn the Knicks into a winner and make them a credible franchise again. He's done neither.

Under Jackson, the Knicks have become a punch line. They lose games and the leader of the organization makes a fool of himself by saying dumb things about LeBron James and announcing his break-up with his long-time girlfriend on social media.

Until we hear from Rose, his actions cannot be excused. The same with Carmelo, who needs a come to Jesus moment as it relates to plotting his exit from New York.

Ultimately, this is all on Jackson. His roster, his coach, his mess.
