The amount of money that has poured into this election is insane.
I had a cute chick from LA come by my place and told me to vote.
The app they used told them all types of data, they knew down to the date that you voted if you had or not.
Scary part is that the app was available to anyone that volunteered.
Every other commercial is a Jon Osoff commercial.

You are dead on. I was shocked at some of the info that they held. I have seen the Ossoff campaign people walking through the hood for the past two weeks. Not one minority. I hope that it is different in other areas. 24 million spent. Tons of signs, mailers and fliers. I hope that some of us were able to eat from that. No line at 2pm. It only took me 5 mins to vote.

Those are actually how high response emails campaigns are written. They're using the same team that handled Obama's email marketing fundraising campaigns. People are actually more responsive to those types of emails.

Yep Jon ran a very good campaign. Karen has a shady background and they still elected her is nothing you could do at this point. Also this district is gerrymandered like Hell if it wasn't for Dunwoodie Sandy Springs area form my research this would not been a contest

a lot of Republicans voted for Jon but not enough because how this district is gerrymandered. Like I said the Democrats did a very good job with this campaign especially when you have a opponent who has a very shady background but at the end of day is only so much you could do to convince people to be smarterNo level of campaign can beat ~ "We are secretly as racist as you are".
Republicans spent about the same amount (in a district that has been red for a long time) and came close to losing the seat that the former congressman enjoyed a 20% margin of victory every time he ran.
The fact that the republicans had to spend so much money in that district says in two year if the democrats hold strong. That district may flip blue.

hardly any apartments, and most are transient who dont vote.

Naw man. This is way bigger than a damn response rate on an email. This gets disseminated out to media and makes you look week. Obama actually had a central message...apples and oranges.
Everyone knows Trump won by 20 points in that district but Ossoff had no message. Dems can't run on "we're not republicans" platform. They need central messaging.
He said they ran on the generic democrat tip because they thought the opposite would have lost votes since it is a red district.
Dems still think they can get "moderate" republicans to cross over instead of appealing to their base and focusing on turnout. It's amazing to watch. People that voted for Trump who will no longer support him will just sit it out.. they arent going to vote for Dems in enough numbers for it to be meaningful
there isn't a base in the south - just a bunch of people fucked out of their jobs and getting ever lessening municipal services because banks practiced predatory lending on state and local governments
