DCs Legends of Tomorrow

The actor playing Savage saved this series, he wasn't some goofy villain out of the 60's batman series. Fire Storm pisses me off though, its like the actor looked up black American stereotypes to base his character off.

Neither Rex nor Rick have any innate powers (though it was theorized once that their powers derive from a metagene, like most DC superheroes). Any superhuman abilities they display are derived from the use of Miraclo. Taking Miraclo grants a user several abilities for the span of an hour. Most obvious are the superhuman strength, durability, increased resistance to physical damage (to the extent of being impervious to small arms fire) and speed enhancements. Other, lesser known and mentioned powers include night vision and the ability to survive underwater. Rex and Rick both took Miraclo in pill form, but Rick currently uses a transdermal patch

 the perfect non cgi powers for a low budget tv series.

Maybe with the Hawkman and Hawkgirl are gone.... We can finally open room for Hawkwoman.

Bring in Shayera Hol... have her be the advance scout for Thanagar.. keep the Ass kicking attitude and all is forgiven.

Surely theyre going to be guest stars every now and again..hopefully Ciara will get those teeth fixed in the meantime

Also theres going to be a big cross-over event w/ all the shows once Supergirl is brought to the CW

‘DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow’: Ciara Renée To Depart

On tonight’s season finale of the CW’s DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Hawkman and Hawkgirl’s 4,000-year quest to kill the immortal Vandal Savage finally came to a successful end. After completing their mission, Hawkman and Hawkgirl were seen at the end of the finale flying off into the sunset.

With the Vandal Savage story arc over, we will see a lot less of Hawkman and Hawkgirl in Season 2. For actress Ciara Renée, who was a series regular on Season 1, playing Kendra Saunders aka Hawkgirl, that means that she is exiting as a series regular. (Falk Hentschel played Hawkman as a recurring guest star.)
This is the second major cast change on Legends heading into Season 2, along withWentworth Miller’s departure as a series regular to become a regular in the combined Greg Berlanti universe, recurring on both Legends and The Flash next season.

Legends co-creator/executive producer Marc Guggenheim said that he and the series’ other writers did not know that Renée and Hentschel would not have a significant presence in Season 2 until they got together to think about next season.

“We went through the team, made a list of all the characters and started to think of stories for them. When we got to Hawkman and Hawkgirl, we had trouble coming up with stories. The bow was tied so tightly and neatly with their story in the finale, that everything we thought of felt very forced. After 4000 years, they were no longer under the specter of Vandal, and we felt they need some time off. Bringing them back to the team as soon as the the beginning of Season 2 felt premature.”

The idea behind Legends always was to have a rotating team of characters, Guggenheim said. “We have a very organic system in place to take a break form characters.”

In Season 2, “the composition of the team is going to change; there will be some new faces on the Waverider,” he said. “The season finale planted some very significant flags in terms of what the new concept of the show will be in season 2.”

Legends already is recruiting two new team members for next season, casting a male and female new regulars.

“We always wanted Legends to be distinct season to season, not only in terms of the composition of the team but also in terms of mission statements. The team’s mission statement for Season 2 is more compelling than Season 1, and at the same time, it is more streamlined. It’s a little bit higher concept, a very clean notion that will allow the show to do things that it does best.”

I've got no issue with this. Chick has been the weak link all season. I love the Character of Hawkgirl, but I need the one from Justice League Animated Series. I need the warrior.

Glad the Hawks are leaving the show. Wish Sara would go back to Arrow. Glad Snark is not a regular anymore. The way he delivers his lines as the character gets annoying. I had to watch some of Prison Break to see if he actually talks like that. :smh:
At some point they need Palmer to reclaim his company. He works as a regular as a intellectual member on the team. Firestorm is only there for diversity reasons. If this show got cancelled after one season I wouldn't have cared. Hopefully without the Savage plot it will be better next season.

Ok we fucking get it that the blonde chic is a lesbian, no need to shove it down our throats. Also after seeing timeless it makes me realize how low the budget for this show is

they turned her into the DCTVU version of Jack Harkness  when Vixen does come on board she might want to steer clear of her

I found a plot hole already. How the hell did dude know they were calling themselves Legends? It's not like the group was giving out business cards or leaving messages disclaiming who they are. :smh:

I feel like I have to force myself to watch this show and hope it was worth watching by the end. Next weeks episode looks promising.

Just watched it and I must say.... that I really enjoyed the premiere. It looks like they are just going full comic book and I'm cool with that.

I'm giving it four episodes and if the show hasn't improved I'm dropping this show, with that said next week's episode does look good.

They didn't explain, who was the guy at the end of last season......

Side note... it might not get much traction but I'm thinking about making a van helsing thread. I'm really enjoying the changes that they have made to the vampires mythology. The fact that the vampires fear her not because she hunts them but because she can turn them back human.

I'm watching it now and I'm shocked at how much I'm enjoying it. The hospital shit is still the weakest link right now....

Side note... these Canadian stars will never run out of work. They just rotate between shows
