Dawn of the planet of the apes review....

Ceasar wasn't playing with his seed at all

He strong'd arm dude easily with that shotgun

And what scene was the op talking about with 2 humans a ape and hall way?

Why the Fuck did he say hallway?

And I see Ceasar had to niño brown koba

See that's what happen when u don't feed niggas

Kobe had to eat on his lonely

And he was to dangerous to keep being Ceasar goon.

Koba had did a long stretch in the box he wasn't trying to be reasonable when it came to the humans

2 different experiences

CDG had franco and the family and all that other shit.. he ain't grow up in the bing he was in the burbs..

They both were right though. CDG and Koba

Koba just turned snake to try and get his way

Koba killed his son though, you can't ever forget something like that.

Was that Koba son or rocket's son?

Ash was Rocket's son.

Koba would be a perfect bgol member

His hate for cacs is next level

me and the wife just came from seeing this......
and you beat me to it. Koba is str8 off bgol
:lol::lol::lol::lol:

they should've added more to the ending to give us an idea to what the next one will be like

To Koba's credit, he had every right to hate the CAC's.
They fucked him up all his life so he really didn't know any better.
He basically called Ceasar an uncle Tom.

For some reason that final fight scene reminded me of Bishop vs. Q fighting for the "Juice".
It was the exact same scenario.

I can't wait to see how Blue Eyes steps up as his father's successor...whenever that happens.
This is gonna get interesting.

True!

I know Rocket's story is very small compared to Koba's, but Rocket actually had more evolution than Koba. Rocket (for those who don't remember) was the one whooping Caesar's ass in the Primate shelter in "Rise". He was nothing but a bully that loved to show his strength and ridicule other monkeys. Caesar used his intelligence to knock Rocket off his alpha perch. He then followed Caesar. After gaining intelligence Rocket became one of his top lieutenants.

As far as Koba...he was a human hating mofo before gaining intelligence and became a bigger, smarter human hating mofo after gaining intelligence!

Koba was NOT like most BGOL members.

Koba took the hints, but he also went and did RESEACRH about the humans.

He stayed loyal to Ceasar as long as he could, but he knew Ceasar was a bitch, and extremely naive, and his naivety was gonna ruin it for the community.

clue #1 Although the apes weren't sure Humans were completely gone, even right around the corner from them, they never went looking for them. They met up with them when the hum as came to THEIR region, and the fucking CAC shot one of em.

#2 Ceasars stupid ass wasn't even talking to the leader of the CACs. He was talking to "the kind one" who couldn't even keep control of the small group he was with. Koba told him to go and show force. When they came down and said "DON'T COME BACK", here comes silly WHite boy, talking about "We need the damn in YOUR region to give us power. Ceasars reply shoulda been, "I told you not come back. Theres plenty of Dams in america, and you've had 10 years to fucking find one anywhere on this continent. Your poor planning doesn't have anything to do with me. GET THE FUCK OUT.

#3 it's more than obvious that once the humans got resources, they would do more with it. How do we know this? They JUST DID IT 10 YEARS AGO. The ones affected by it, including Koba, are still alive to tell about it.

#4, so they allow the humans to get the Dam clear, but they don't tell Ceasar SHIT about using explosives to of it. Bomb goes off IN THEIR REGION , and could've injured some of them. Also, who's to say that them having that dam wouldn't fuck up the fishing in their area? Hell no.

#5 White boy again shows he aint got control of shit, when the gun is revealed and could've killed their baby. Ceasar had already shown white big demonstration of good faith TWICE. Once when he brought the bag back to their colony, no questions asked, another by beating the shit out of Koba in the Cac's face, to show that he runs his shit. Does the WHite boy do the same to his stupid live wire worker? Fuck no, he just sends him off on his own, as if he's trustworthy enough. wait no, THREE TIMES by smashing every gun he sees instead of using it on them.

#6 So Koba who thinks they shouldn't be trusted, goes down to the colony and guess what he sees? MAD GUNS. Now he knows FOR SURE that Ceasar is too fucking Naive. Ceasar seems to only give a shit about them cuz (a) he was raised by ONE NICE ONE, despite what they other ones have done, and (b) awww the cool little White girl cured HIS mother. I'm sorry, if you've been anti tech your whole life, you accept that members of your crew die. If not, you can use your intelligence to make your own medicine. But Ceasa, who's supposed to be the leader, is so concerned with his immediate fam, he loses all concern for the whole tribe.

#7 Ceasars son is a straight bitch. And the other one. A white boy JUST swung and smacked someone from your crew in the head with a fucking pole, and you don't think it's appropriate to kill him? Yeah, your sass deserved to get dropped off a balcony.

#8 Did the humans ever even discuss sharing the resources from the dam with the Apes, even though the resource came from their land? FUCK NO.

#9 Even when Ceasar wasn't there, the white boy makes a move to get the gun from the REAL CAC LEADER but he doesn't have the balls to shoot the fuckers. SO much for the TRUST he just talked about. Sure, he might be nice, but he can't be trusted to do whats necessary to prevent C4 from blowing up their whole shit.
Fuck those humans, they suck, even the nice ones

Koba was WELL within his rights to fuck them up

I saw no correlation between black folk and the apes in this movie. Sheesh! Just enjoy the flick. Do you see yourself as an ape? Caesar was nowhere close to an Uncle Tom. He may have been naive but he was showing the patience of a leader and a reflection of his early interaction with humans.

all of his early interactions with humans was TERRIBLE except for ONE GUY.

Any people who are a part of a society that has been colonized by others can find correlation with the apes unfortunately, in terms of being sort of indigenous to some portion of land and being pimped for resources. Not all groups of folks can make a claim of just siting around peace loving and not having done something to expand their own territory, having done similar things to others.

all that being said, if koba doesnt encite a war nothing happens!!!; the white guy that was working with apes got the power on; that was their mission and they accomplish that...so all of what you said is mute..now if you want to argue that they wouldnt have never let the apes alone after the power, then thats a different argument..

Really good movie thought, right next to capt america as the best movie of the summer..

My theater was packed.

You guys are over rating this movie like hell. The only thing spectacular about this movie was the visuals. The story drags at many points, its predictable, and had major shit that didn't make sense at all.

The super highly intelligent monkeys were next door neighbors with the humans but had no clue that they were around. Monkeys attacking the humans directly sacrificing themselves instead of attacking them stealthly by climbing over objects. Kobba never getting shot while riding the horse but having pin point accuarcy while dual wielding a rifle and machine gun. Rifles never needed to be reloaded.

I agree, and the plot whole of the writers just making the major ASSERTION that the humans NEEDED THAT DAM, and they now have 2 weeks to keep power.

As if over those 10 years they couldn't have found some other broken down dam .

That was supposed to make you feel like you HAVE TO FEEL SORRY FOR THEM, AND IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT THEY NEEDED THAT DAM.

Having Ceasars dumb ass sayin shit like "NO. Apes started this." or "Koba you fight for YOURSELF" as if he didn't just keep the group of CACs alive right after one in the group had not just snuck a gun in and almost killed a baby- he did that cuz they cured his baby's mom. I call that selfish. Keeping some people around who can bring harm to your community based on what one human did for you long ago, and one can do for YOU RIGHT NOW.

I still dug it, but mostly for effects and even the holly ass storyline was intriguing if you just accept some parts.

How would you assume nothing is GOING to happen?

The humans did everything to incite the war, right off the bat by walking into their territory and shooting one of them.

Had Ceasar not been nice about it, that would've been a war right there.

Malcolm was told to never come back but he comes stomping his happy ass in their area to talk about clearing the dam. He coulda gotten jerked right there, cuz Ceasar told him not to come back AFTER they killed one of apes, and the foot soldiers could've had orders to kill in sight. But what do they do? Drag his back to talk to Ceasar. 2nd time

Then they blow up some shit in their territory AFTER being invited and you saw how surprised and startled Ceasar was when it went down. But what did they do? Go off and say "what the fuck are you white bus doing?!! No, they went and saved the bastard who was stuck in there. 3rd chance for war avoided BY the Apes.

Then they bring their baby over, kick it with the humans. Baby reveals a gun, when they were TOLD NOT to bring guns in their. 4th aggressive behavior, but no- they don't even kill the guy who had the gun. They just tell him to leave AGAIN.

By now, Koba is highly suspicious, so he goes down and checks out a few things. He finds MAD GUNS and guys shooting them. One of em almost kills him right there, tip he plays the dumb ape routine,

SO you can say Koba started it, but ALL of their behavior sets it up, and the only reason it didn't happen sooner is because the apes chilled out at least 4 times.

he even took an ass whooping in front of them. Thats how far Ceasar went to who the humans they need not fear them or take all this aggressive action.

Over 10 years... who knows how long they had even been together? you're acting like they were living at that colony for 10 years.. No.. all the stuff happened over 10 years.. the outbreaks the deaths the anarchy all of that shit.. they could've and probably had been there for only a couple if that and it was about to run out.

i don't think anyone felt sorry for the humans..especially in the showing i went to. oldman was despised and plenty of people sucked their teeth when Caesar kept giving them chances..

Caesar was about the bottom line

he did not want any apes to die or be in danger of war. he wanted to keep that good thing going without what's about to happen now.

Koba would've gotten all of the apes killed quickly...

come on son

you dont know the history of the man?

they would have never have been happy in their area

manifest destiny and all that

They had a war, that Koba finally OBLIGED once too much shit popped of. Notice they didn't all die. It was unavoidable, and Ceasar was too stupid to see it coming.

you see what happened by the end. They sent the humans packing, and they're lucky it happened THEN instead of down the line when the humans would've gotten more power and resources.

Think about it. If the main resource for power for THEM is in YOUR territory, do you think they wouldn't want FULL CONTROL over said area (middle east comes to mind)

Especially from a species who the last time you saw them, they brought war on you before they killed their fucking selves?:lol::lol:

The reason to bring war with them NOW is to keep your species ALIVE and FREE, cuz once they gained more power, they are coming got get that area. Ceasar may have been smart, but he should read a history book of the species as a whole, not the two nice people HE met and salt with as a child. Once the others took his ass from his human guardian, all hell broke loose.

And I don't care f it was ONE YEAR they had that colony setup. They would've been aware enough of the lay of the land to know there were more than one dam, plus the way new civilizations are built is AROUND a power source, not just randomly. They should've been nomads til they knew they were in an area where they could trade with others, or move the fuck on.

i feel what you are saying; and yes humans dont listen and probably eventually would have started something, but thats all speculation; and to say Cesar was weak, i dont believe that; They didnt blow up anything on purpose and Cesar realized that just like a good leader is suppose to; And Koba wasnt/isnt a good leader; At the end of the day he cared about himself first period(just like most of the so called leaders in the world today)..Cesar didnt want war because he knew alot of apes would die and/or suffer; he was big into family first, apes sticking together without hurting each other, etc etc...Maybe war was inevitable but if you are a leader and you care about your peeps then war should always be a last resort!!!

i feel what you are saying; and yes humans dont listen and probably eventually would have started something, but thats all speculation

gotta stop ya right there plehboi

They DID start something when they shot Rockets son. The apes had every right to kill them for that.

I pointed out a few other times that coulda caused war. They stepped over the line at least 4 times in ways they would've never accepted themselves.

it WAS a last resort.

Koba had evidence that it wasn't gonna stop there. He started the fight EARLY cuz he saw that the humans were arming themselves, and there would be no way to win, much less minimize damage once they were more powerful. As it stand now at the end of this episode, they lost some citizens but the humans were sent packing. They shoulda finished scorching that earth, but once again, Ceasars bitch ass is only concerned about the feelings he had for the 3 humans who had been nice to HIM, and forgetting about how he AND the others were treated by the humans REALLY in power.

i see your angle..

Caesar wasn't too stupid to see it, he didn't want it to happen. He had them looking out for humans in the forest for 10 years for a reason... they were guarding those areas for a reason.. cause he knew they'd find their way there one day. Koba was just blinded by what happened to him and he was willing to kill Caesar to make it happen.
you see what happened by the end. They sent the humans packing, and they're lucky it happened THEN instead of down the line when the humans would've gotten more power and resources.

Again, Caesar was giving this dude a chance on the strength of Franco and his family. He wasn't naive to the possibility he just didn't want to go to war if it was possible to avoid it. War would have come either way but it doesn't excuse what Koba did.

Especially from a species who the last time you saw them, they brought war on you before they killed their fucking selves?:lol::lol:

CDG did everything he could think of to not start a war, I'm not mad at him for trying to not start a war with humans on the strength of he doesn't want any of his kind fighting.

It makes a difference because people are acting like they been there for 10 years and now they want to explore.. no..they just got their shit together

all the hints they were dropping..people losing kids..people not sure if they could catch it from the apes.. etc etc they were just starting to rebuild so it wouldn't be farfetched for it to take 10 years to get to this point.. especially considering how fragile all this shit is.. a few of the right people die and the rest of us are shit out of luck and don't know how to do shit..
