David Stern on FLOPPING "We should give out Oscars rather than MVPS"

Nobody is giving any props to the Godfather of Flops??

Flopping is one of the reasons that the game is damn near unwatchable now. I don't care for it much in the regular season but once the playoffs start, the refs need to just swallow their whistles.

I watched the Grizzlies and Clippers game today, I did see flops, but for the most part, the refs let them play.

The Clipps/Griz game is how games should be called, especially playoff games.

I hate it in soccer but damn.. it looks so much worse in basketball

It's kinda understandable in soccer because the field is huge and u try to get the refs attention with 22 players on the pitch...but that shit looks so bad in basketball

:lol::lol:@ niggas runnin to the defense of Bron for EVERY damn criticism, I bet y'all nigga don't treat the broads you fuckin' this good..:smh::smh::smh:

Those gifs did it 4 me, I hope Stern can eradicate this shit as his last good deed before he retires...

Love Bron as a player...Hate the ho ass nigga Bron fans on here that act like that nigga is above reprieve like he's ya kid or something, can't wait to see what Skip Bayless has to say to get u niggas riled the fuck up...:D:D

You can stop flopping. Just put one ref at the table watching TV for foot on the line, last touched, etc - and include flopping.

Flopping gives the other team two free throws and the ball.

So this thread is turning into a Bash lebron thread when there are clearly more floppin ass niggas in the league... some of you niggas some real hoes

I am 40, and I have seen flopping since I was a kid. We just live in a day of instant replay and high definition tv. So, it seems like there is more now, but watching in person and on the bad tv screens won't help at all.

People are just trying to bash Lebron. Dude does flop, but I don't see too many players who don't flop.

Very few players hit the canvas more than 6'10" 260 lb brick wall Karl "The Mail Truck" Malone. Him and his little buddy Giligan did quite alot of flopping around in their day. Back then they were more the exception than the rule....Between them and Ms Miller over in Indy they basically had the market cornered on flops. But they never won shit because after the refs saw it a few times during a playoff series, they would stop giving those guys that call. In fact they would lose the benefit of a doubt altogether and stop getting calls period. Today flops have been institutionalized. Never in a million years will you see as many finely tuned athletes losing their balance and busting their asses as in an NBA game. The only players who fall down are the ones who WANT to fall down. If they're not diving for a ball and they're on the floor, 90% of the time it's a flop

real fucking shit

like I said players are flopping because it is rewarded

they have made flopping a part of their games :smh::lol:

Yo what was the one where Lebron flopped then winked after...how can that not get back to refs and if it did, how can they still give him the benefit of the doubt?

Also who remembers my boy Paul Pierce getting tapped on the jaw then that fool did a presser with his face wrapped!

Derrick Fisher is the biggest flopper on the planet. Period. Stop making it out like leBron is the worst. Not even close.

The Clipps/Griz game is how games should be called, especially playoff games involving a flopping team.

Fixed...

If teams don't flop you can call a foul a foul. Gay got fouled a couple times as did Gasol w/ no call... Too gad those dudes didn't go to the Paul / Griffin school of flopping...

if the league tightens up on it.....believe me, the NFL will follow suit.

can't lie... this shit has me in tears... and im only on my second beer... oh shit... dude was like "prepare for liftoff" and the pusher is looking like wtf is this bitchassness in the nfl these days. dude threw his hands up.... but the WR did a high jump routine... oh shit that was funny...

Edit:

Upon further review dude still got hit 20 times harder then LaBronya on any of his clips... Carry on...

I think flopping in the NBA is just as big of a concern for the sport of basketball as player safety has recently become in the NFL.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/mBFo-34hRdM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Do you remember when the NBA was played by men?:smh::smh: They should be embarrassed:smh::smh:

With Divac all the NBA big shots (where's Van Dummy?) treat his flops as a joke....
but they ain't joking about the Heat though......

Not just that, but Vlade actually got CONTACT by 250-400 pound dudes during his flops. his were clear exaggerations while some of labronia's are literally made up, acts, and phantom calls... You way 270 and D.Rose hits a ball and it barely touches ur face and u act like Tyson sucker punched you? You're driving against the Mavs and you're suddenly on a on a marry go round and lost ur ballance, traveling / flailing and all??? REALLY??? No touch? nuts...

You must live in Miami or LA. I watch a shit load of basketball and I NEVER see dudes literally create up entire fouls when nothing happened at all...

and I will tell em 1 hof'er who was prolific at flopping Reggie fuckin Miller

Reggie was a flopped no doubt, but he was never, not once considered for even a moment the best player in the nba, and he was never in real contention for MVP, much less a three time winner.

Compare Lebron to his historical peers and try again. Can you think of a player on his level to be such a flopper?

Do it without dancing around my post.
