Media outlets were different back then. It took a while, but the truth came out.

He shouldn't have outed Wesley but his angst is understandable.

I don't think even Oprah can save her from this.

Halle Berry's Ex Eric Benet Reacts to David Justice's Twitter Rant: "My Man is Tweeting Some Truth"

New bromance? Halle Berry’s ex-husband Eric Benet offered his support to her other ex-husband David Justice in a new tweet on Tuesday, Nov. 3, after Justice wrote about the actress online. In response, the singer/songwriter, 49, tweeted, “My man at @23davidjustice is tweeting some truth dis' mornin’!”

His comment came after Justice, 49, spent the morning ranting about his famous ex in a series of tweets, some of which have now been deleted. The former baseball player took issue with reports suggesting that he abused her during their 5-year marriage.

“Reading the latest Halle Berry Reports,it wasn't me who hit Halle causing the ear damage.Halle has never said that I hit her,” Justice wrote in now-deleted tweets, he added: “It was a former Hollywood boyfriend (WS) that she told me ! #getyourfactsright When she first reported that she had been in abusive relationships, she wouldn't name the "famous" former boyfriend She was mad at me leaving the relationship so she and her Hollywood Team just tried to destroy my character. It had to be my fault, right?”

Justice also mentioned Benet and Berry’s other exes Gabriel Aubry and her estranged husband, Olivier Martinez, in a now-deleted tweet.

“Yup..Me,Eric,Gabriel and Olivier were all her ‘Knight in Shining Armor’,until it ends..Then we all become the worst guys in history,” Justice wrote. “Only the guys in the relationship with Halle know the real deal there will be another, of course. He’ll be called ‘The Best’ until it ends.”

The former Atlanta Braves player later tweeted further explanation, writing, “My intention was not to bash Halle,as I specifically said that Halle has NEVER verbally said it. I just wished that when the rumors were out she could've squashed them at that time. I have 3 kids and a wife for 15 years. It was important that my kids knew that their dad didn't do what has been so regularly reported over the years.”

Justice was married to Berry, 49, from 1992 to 1997, and Benet was married to her from 2001 to 2005. Berry and Martinez, 49, announced their split in late October, telling Us Weekly, "It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce. We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son."

Update: Despite Justice tweeting a thank you to Berry for "finally squashing all of the rumors," a source tells Us Weekly that she has not commented on the situation or his tweets in any way.

but didn't he say he cheated because he was diagnosed with a sex addiction ?

but why dudes talking about it when she ain't ?

I feel ya Dave but dry snitching ain't cool:smh:.

I think the dry snitch in this instance is acceptable. Being accused of beating ur lady... Without her setting record straight... Or having the dude who actually did the beating step- in and- at the very least- defend you by insinuating something else could possibly be afoot (as someone with personal experience with said crazy bitch), constitutes all bets being off.

You let me drown in ur lie and we ain't got a code... I'm not carrying ur water.

Damn I was under the assumption that everyone already knew it was Wesley snipes that dropped them 5th ward B's on her.
