Dave Chappelle gonna make SNL GREAT AGAIN!

Wait y'all went from being all hype to saying this sucked ???? Make your fucking minds up
Opening monologue, 1st 2 skits, Weekend Update and Tribe. Otherwise, this shit was a colossal waste of time.
You just named like more than half of the show lol. That's like saying a female got big titties, fat ass and a cute face but she just aight.

Good 2 Go – Never Satisfied Lyrics
(Chorus)
Never Satisfied
Never Satisfied
Never Satisfied
Never Satisfied

I know I've given you all that I've could
No matter what I do to you it never good
I'm always doin' the best that I can
The way you make me feel I never understand

You don't appreciate anything I ever do (No you don't appreciate the things I do)
All you do is complain, what's the matter with you

(Chorus)
Never Satisfied... You are...
Never Satisfied... Never Satisfied...
Never Satisfied... No...
Never Satisfied

I go to work each day while you stay at home
Lying in bed all day while talkin' on my phone
Then you tell me that you need time alone
Out in the streets I'm like some stalkin' doggone hoe

You don't appreciate anything I ever do (No you don't appreciate the things I do)
All you do is complain, what's the matter with you... no...

(Chorus)
Never Satisfied... You are... never...
Never Satisfied... Never Satisfied...
Never Satisfied... No...
Never Satisfied

I'll give the world to you if only I could
But you don't treat me like a gentleman should
I give you what you want and more than you need
I just can't understand why it's so hard to please

You don't appreciate anything I ever do (No you dooon't appreciate the things I do)
All you do is complain, what's the matter with you

Never Satisfied... (No no...)
Never Satisfied... (No no...)
Never Satisfied... (No no...)
I can never do egnough for you (Never Satisfied...)
Can't you see my love is true (Never Satisfied...) x5
(Fade out)

Dave got hella talent. Wish he would bring the Chappelle show back.

I always wonder if one of the reasons why he didnt keep that show alive was because he feared he'd run out of material.

SNL writers and CAC humor took over.

Basically.

I'm pretty sure that's Michelle Forbes. One of the many startenders of NY.

I thought the show was good, I thank Lorne Michaels for allowing Dave to do the show he wanted. Having Chris Rock was pretty good, wish he could have had a few more Black Comedians do appearances.

Wish he brought his writers with him to comandeer the show for just one night.....
Only saw the Tribe's last performance which was sad but lit.
Reminded me of these

 Yea, but 4 skits? And half wasn't funny. When Dave and Chris Rock 1st came on, I expected to be dying on the floor laughing. And the 2nd skit was just "ok". Weekend Update is usually good and Dave wasn't involved in it. When the musical guests were superior than the skits, thats a problem. This Tribe album is fantastic, by the way. I'm really surprised. Contender for album of the year.

The Dave and Chris Rock skit cracked me up

The jheri curl and bar scenes were painful

In fact it was pretty painful after the first 30 minutes until the milk skit

I thought Tribe was good considering, but it's hard for me to look at when there's one missing.

In fact it was pretty painful after the first 30 minutes until the milk skit

seems to be the general consensus...I seen the opening monologue (hilarious) and the chris rock election skit (OK)...I'll wait for cats to post the other funny skits rather than watch the whole show

They should've gave Dave the entire show to do skits like he did on the Chappelle show
That would be hard to do in a week.
His main concern was the open, which was his latest stand up material.
1st skit was a smart way to show America a Black perspective of the election.
Jheri skit filled time & was prolly an indicator of behind the scenes takedown of a non-funny skit (like a post game sports analysis of a losing team).
Dave didn't want to do characters from his old show but 'The Walking Dead' skit was PERFECT in a way to showcase them. EXTREMELY funny how Bigsby sniffed out Negan and the crackhead survived it all and made a statement as a head on many bodies.

Remember Dave walked off stage of a LIVE show when idiots kept shouting "I'm Rick James, BITCH!"
He wants to grow & move on from his old material.

Leslie Jones & her white man love is a running joke - Dave couldn't go in his dressing room due to the love funk!
It's 2016 - n-bombs on network TV is the risk they took. Not many can say it & get away with it but it's ot new from Dave. The dig on Trump was subtle. Staying in a Trump hotel, laying in bed in the morning when housekeeping comes in & grabbing her pussy 'cuz the boss said it's OK. What more about Trump needed to be said?

Tribe live; Q-Tip was a little extra with the clothes & dancing but isn't hat who he is? They kept Phife a part of things as best as they could, excepting a damn hologram so all in all they did the damn thing. Bus & Consequence coulda done hype from their seats!

Dave Chappelle was the life of the Saturday Night Live afterparty this weekend when he led NYC venue the Cutting Room in a rendition of Radiohead’s “Creep.”

The Roots frontman Questlove posted video of his impromptu cover to Instagram. “In a life full of highlights? I’m glad I waited til 5:22am for this…” he wrote.

Chappelle hosted SNL for the first time on Saturday, which marked a series high for the show in ratings and the show’s first episode since Donald Trump won the presidency. Cast member Leslie Jones, whoposted photos and videos from the afterparty with Madonna and Bradley Cooper, joined Chappelle onstage during the jam session.

Earlier in the evening, Lenny Kravitz took over the drum set, as shown through video from Jones’ Twitter feed.

Dave Chappelle gave Saturday Night Live a boost this weekend, as the ratings for the late-night sketch comedy show reached a season high.

The episode was the first since Donald Trump’s stunning election win and also the first time Chappelle performed as host. SNL garnered a 6.2 rating among households and a 3.9 rating among adults in the 18-49 bracket, which THR notes is a high for the demographic since Jimmy Fallon hosted the show in 2013.

The 42nd season started off strong with a premiere rating of 5.8 among households, the biggest premiere numbers in eight years. Chappelle’s show (pun intended) didn’t have the presidential campaign to pull from, though Kate McKinnon reprised her Hillary Clinton persona.

A Tribe Called Quest performed as the musical guests, and Chris Rock also made a surprise appearance.
