They have some good inside stories. All these dudes hold a level of respect for each other, even as opponents, because you made it to the NBA. You're one of 450 people in the world, elite enough to be in this league. Even the most garbage NBA player is still a force to be reckoned with.
 
melo had the complete package. his jump shot mixed with his post up game made him unstoppable at times. i just wished he would have stayed in denver tho and brought a championship there. new york was a huge mistake on his career

I don't blame Melo COMPLETELY

Well only about forcing the trade early and also always taking the most money and longer deals because it completely ruined flexibility. Bron, Wade, CP3 etc all tried to warn him. The shorter contract meant more leverage. But he wasn't about leaving guaranteed money on the table. Which of course I understand. But in the long run it kinda hurt him career wise.
