Hmmm....

About 10-15 years back, I was living out of my truck temporarily (long story) and would wash clothes at this 24hr laundromat in SW Detroit during the wee hours. Got to talking with the attendant working the graveyard shift. He said the owners made the mistake of putting an atm in the laundromat at one point. Around 2-3 am, several men armed with assault rifles showed up in a pick up truck, tied him up, said they just wanted the machine, and took it. This was apparently caught on video.

He went on to say there were MS13 members living in the area, along with some other South/Central American gangs. There also happens to be a Highwaymen motorcycle club (gang) building within walking distance. He did not point fingers at either group. I mention this to give an idea of what the neighborhood is like.

They still don't have a guard. Might be a good idea, but he would HAVE to be armed. Heavily.
