Damn HP dropped the TP to $99 dollars

right now I am hoping that once my shipment arrives I can get this extra 32 GB off my hands.... I would advise people not to buy more than 2-3 at this point if you don't want your money tied up for 3-4 weeks trying to pull off a decent profit

my 2 cents

the reward is that people get theirs...and instantly LOVE It ... the OS problems are solved and demand grows again... but it's a long shot imo

good luck

This shit is confusing I order on Saturday and received no conformation

Either positive or negative yet some of y'all cats ordered after and got delivery dates

I'm gonna call em again

FUCK

How is a tablet with decent hardware and a critically acclaimed OS a waste? For $99 at that? Even as a casual Internet browsing device it is worth it.

Folks want to always find some shit to complain about. WTF...it is fucking $99!!!!

Not hating i guess to me it's a waste considering I got a zoom and iPad I know there both cost way more than these but I feel secure with great products ya digg:dance::dance:
of course it'll be a waste to you, but over 500k people now have a great tablet for 99$... after 1 weekend HP now has almost 1 million new consumers on WebOS. That OS wasn't going away before, and it sure isn't going away now - watch these dudes find away to make money...

I got the same email, about an hour ago. I placed my order Saturday night... I'm still crossing my fingers.:)

WTF is up with Amazon and OnSale??? Still no fucking word :smh:
I think I understand Amazon's problems
1. they gut their own Kindle sales in the short run
2. If they sell at msrp - they don't cover their overhead (warehouse, order process /billing, card commission, etc...) they're going to want HP to cover that or pay Amazon's expenses to return the devices to HP. Thats why Best Buy hasn't really sold any online, and the instore sales are final and "as-is"

HP TouchPad

Update 11:47am CST 08/23/11:
At this time all remaining TouchPad inventory is on its way to our stores and will be arriving throughout the week. Best Buy will no longer be selling the Touchpad on BestBuy.com, or any other Best Buy channel other than our stores. We cannot share specifics on the timing or quantity of these shipments. As soon as a store receives shipment, it will be merchandised on the sales floor and will be processed on a first come first serve basis.

Update 8:14pm CST 08/21/11:
We are sold out of the HP TouchPad both in store and online and will not be receiving more inventory.

Update 11:25am CST 08/21/11:
Due to limited availability of the HP TouchPad, some BestBuy.com orders have been canceled. We apologize for any inconvenience and do not anticipate any additional inventory. Please refer to the conditions of use for more information on canceled orders.

Due to HP’s decision to discontinue its TouchPad product, Best Buy will now provide clearance pricing for all HP TouchPad models regardless of previously advertised prices or promotions.

The new pricing will be as follows:
HP TouchPad 16GB (SKU 2842056) $99.99
HP TouchPad 32GB (SKU 2842092) $149.99
There is a strict purchase limit of one of each hardware SKU unit per customer.

It took days but I finally got my shipped email from bestbuy. I just knew they were going to cancel on me. Now I'm in the boat with the thousands of others trying to see whats good with the OnSale/Amazon foolishness.
