Daily sodium and sugar intake

The only way you'd be able to afford 20 people is if they're your basement dwelling sweatshop working in laws. And none are over 5'3 and 120lbs. I will beat the dog shit out of your entire family tree and then make them do my laundry faggit.

Keep thinking that. I'm the last person you want real problems with. I'll end it with that old man. I will have you eating through a straw the rest of your miserable fucking life.

I eat meat and vegetables everyday.. Thats it..No rice, no pasta, minimal cheese as possible. I have that stuff once in a while but after eating this way for so long, pasta actually makes me feel sick and bloated as the day goes on.

I avoid salt by using other seasonings and the salt is that last thing i reach for. People use salt because they cant taste their food. Thats the job of other seasonings, salt is the easy route for people who dont know how to cook. A rule when it comes to seasoning that i picked up from a cooking show is....

"If you cant smell the seasoning while youre shaking it on, then you havent added enough of it"

Once you start to smell it, thats when you stop. Most of the seasoning I add when the food is like 5 - 10 minutes before it is done. If your food takes half an hour in the oven, the seasoning you put on could very well be baked out of your food. Then from there I use either garlic salt, or Celtic salt.. Celtic salt is really strong and you really dont need much. Avoid using table salt like Mortons.

For sugar intake. I avoid baked goods unless its homemade or a chocolate bar made with real chocolate...not that hershey shit. Id worry more about the baked goods from stores because they use that partially and fully hydrogenated oil, which is a leading suspect in giving people heart attacks and strokes. If you eat fast food, then youre most likely over that daily intake with just one meal. I used raw organic cashews as a way to detour my sugar cravings. Sugar is sugar no matter what the source... High frutose is just a larger concentration. People who have been advised by their doctor to avoid sugar cannot have Melons or bananas, agave or honey because there is no such things as healthy sugar. Fruit just has "other" benefits, where a can of soda has absolutely none.

What exactly is you situation? I only saw the one post i responded to. Have no idea where your are health wise, size, goals, diet history, age range etc...

6 ft 195. Health wise I have chronic pain so limited exercise wise. I don't have any other health problems I just want to live better. When I started realizing how much sugar and salt I was eating I was amazed im still alive. I was i taking about 7000-10,0000 sodium and 300-500 grams of sugar. I gotta do better. My Oma just passed from cancer.

Thanks bro. I use to eat a whole damn watermelon with Splenda. I'm telling you I had it bad man. I just over indulged when I know it's wrong. Big dummy. Like I said in the other post since moms passed I'm trying to do much better. Thanks again for your post.

You should definitely give the raw cashews a try... I get the ones from Trader Joes. They have the half pieces at $4.99 and the full cashew at $6.99. If you go to like Whole Foods or anywhere else they charge like $10+ which is robbery. Most places only have them roasted which i hate.. I use to be a sugar fiend. I thought it was only me that but seems like quite a few people online curb their sugar cravings with cashews.

The more time that went by of not eating sugar the easier it was. The biggest problem was that my eyes see it, and still want it, but i get it and its not satisfying, my body hates it. I could literally taste that there was just something not right about that store bought brownie or cake compared to something made at home, and now it happens with fast food. I literally cant eat taco bell or mcDonalds without getting sick or being dissatisfied. I was never some health freak, so its odd for me to even say this.

My condolences bro.

And just based on your size (nothing else), you definitely dont need to be fucking with V8's and ensure fam. Just monitor salt intake. Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, watch out for fats, fried foods, sodas, salts and sugars. And exercise. If you are a big canned foods guy look for low sodium versions.

I knew a few people that cut back on pasta, bread etc because they thought they had some sort of wheat allergy or wheat intolerance. But instead it was the yeast that was causing the problems.

As for the sugar....like i stated before....most of the sugar i eat comes from junk food that i eat on my free days. Other comes from fruits. A lot of what i cook doesnt call for sugar. But if i do want to "sweeten it up"...i just add some stevia or honey.

Imho....CERTAIN sugars, salts & carbs aint that big of a deal if you dont overindulge and utilize what you consume.

Stay active. If youre just eating, eating and eating..and not using what your eat for fuel...then in essence youre just wasting your time, over taxing your GI tract (which reps over 70% immune system) and making yourself unhealthy. Thats why I only eat when its required.

People have to stop being afraid to sweat a little. We also need to get in tune with our bodies. When you become healthier...your body will let you know when its time to eat and when its time to chill.

Get Mediterranean sea salt at health food store or specialty store or any sea salt cause the salt sold at the supermarket iodine salt is what causing high blood pressure

Thanks man for the love about moms. I'm still working to keep the levels down. It's not easy. I had been doing well and the other day ate a piece of ham and almost threw up bec of all the damn salt in it. It's amazing how your body reacts on you start eating the way your suppose to. Thanks everyone for your comments.
