DACA versus the black struggle

How much are you invested in the success of DACA? And what is your true opinion of “chain migration?” The orange asshole wants to limit immigration to just immediate family, no uncles or grandmas or cousins.

I personally feel if a family immigrated and grandma would be alone in that country, they should be able to bring her or grandpa. Maybe not cousins and uncles without a good case for why.

I think the DACA kids will turn into even better citizens.
 
Let all of em come. They don't hurt the economy no more than the white guy at work being rewarded for his mediocrity.

And they pay taxes, even if not as much, they can't avoid taxes at the cash register.

We just need to take notes and be disciplined with how we spend our money.

Forget that we have enough to feed as it is. Many of us are disciplined as we like nice stuff and the kids future is taken care of.

Caribbeans nor africans wouldn't allow folk from Europe to come one come all. Im tired of my land being a rest haven just cause someone else's land is ruined. Stay home and build your own infrastructure.
 
Path To Citizenship. The US has capitalized on cheap labor for centuries. Unions, and labor laws at the turn of the century helped to empower working people in our Democracy. Without workers protections, our Democracy is in danger.
We have seen Jim Crow, and it's oppressive ways and that is why we are fighting for a Path To Citizenship. It's not enough to just refrain from deporting people...we must also make people legitimate so that working people arent taken advantage of.

If the White system had it their way, free men of the south would still be share cropping for pennies a day. The black community must wake up, and use this moment to stand with our brothers.
 
I have friends in the DACA program. If need be I will hide them from the feds. Don't want to be in that position, so yes, I fully support the DACA program so long as it gives its recipients a clear and reasonable path to permanent residence and citizenship.

Chain migration is a red herring. My dad became a US citizen 5 years ago. If his status couldn't help me get my green card I don't see how it would help him, or any other immigrant, bring over their cousins, uncles, brothers, etc. Not saying it doesn't happen, but it's too rate and problematic to really worry about.

Democrats have never fought for Blacks like they currently are doing for illegals.
Those same DACAs like 99% come from countries where Blacks are barely visible and live like dogs. They can go fight for their rights like goofy niggaz over here are fighting for theres.

Good points. I live in Atlanta. No idea if it is or not. But is maaaaaaad Mexicans here. All the construction jobs are going their way.

That shit is embarrassing all the while Baltimore city schools ain't got heat, overcrowded classes, being taught by people who went to college with no intention of ever teaching but now they got a student loan that needs to be paid.
Big chunks of this city could literally be used as a post apocalyptic setting for a movie or tv show. The police are worse than the criminals. And this is just 1 city.
But niggaz are annoying all over social media talking bout saving illegals while their own houses are burning to the ground.
Black people have zero concept of power and how it works. Thats why I sit back and laugh at any Black female that went to those womens marches.

Black folks who are fighting for it either have family members directly affected or they realize what is really behind the effort.

I would be willing to bet that the black folks fighting are fighting for their own too.......I'd also be willing to bet that most who feel threatened by DARCA ain't fighting for shit at all.

Bruh, it's counterproductive for us blacks to fight for only our rights, when we've seen what/where divisiveness gets us as a society.

I love my black people. But having & showing love to a neighbor don't mean I aint gon cut my own grass.

The "only black" mentality doesn't work in a global economy.

A lot of the "black folk' included in DACA don't consider themselves black. Yet they are brought up by the folks who are for DACA.
They just like the Latinos shot on black folk all day and would much rather kick the "lazy, thuggish, good for nothing, unproductive" black folk out of this country. In favor of bringing in their own hard working, highly productive, etc....people.
Yet you'll have people say you are playing into the white man's game. So what the fuck are they doing and why aren't you bringing that issue of to them? Because those folks are looking to replace us and not be along side us.

Naw man..I'm talking about black folk who see everything through what the white man is doing. Simple shit like if they are for it. Then they are against it (vice verse) without doing the correct analysis.
Black folk are too focused on how to help everybody else. Then complained and continue to complain that Obama did nothing for us.
Maybe if black folk stop trying to help everybody else and actually come up with a focus position. Maybe, just maybe we'll get politicians to focus on our issue or face the consequence.

See people on want it one way and my ancestors have already fought and paid a price for everyone's rights and those folks don't do nothing but shit on us. It's time for them to do their own fighting and fight for us as well. Then we can see about fighting for others because right now we simply do not have such luxuries.

Ok, I feel you but those problems are corruption, poor allocation of tax dollars, poor leadership, etc.
Those are all problems, I agree.

But just like the problems are on more than one front, so have to be the solutions. We can be a part of the solution to more than one problem at a time.

Just because it aint a struggle exclusive to blacks doesn't mean we cannot or should not fight for it.
