Da Bulls will get to the Eastern conference finals and maybe...

I don't see it happening without someone making a major change to their game. I am gonna hit you with just the numbers to try to make this argument logical. Hopefully this will allow us to level-set.

We can agree that Bosh, James and Wade are bulk shooters. They averaged 16.9, 25.2 and 22.8 shots per game in 09-10 respectively! In the 09-10, NBA teams averages 77 shots per game. At their current rate they would take about 65 shots per game.

I don't care what role players they bring in, the other 5 players in an 8 man rotation cannot be effective taking only 12 shots. that is the equivalent of "hussle play" shot and tip-ins. At their current rate no-one but the big three would be able to take a shot with-in the offense.

Now that we have established that they are going to have to share the ball with themselves and whatever other cast members, lets project that they will all have to take less shots. In order for them to mesh offensively, they are all going to have to take 20% less shots than they normally would (this is a conservative estimate, my gut tells me 25%).

If we cut their shots and free throws by 20% (less shots = less free throws) they will put up, based off of 09-10 shooting and free-throw percentages, 19.4 points on 13.5 shots (Bosh), 26.5 points on 20.16 shots (James) and 22.8 points on 18.24 shots (Wade). That leaves amounts to 68.7 points on 52 shots per game.

Two things must happen: the big three are going to have to rely on a subpar supporting cast to take 25 shots or one of them (maybe two) will have to take a disproportionate amount of shots. Even if they had a sufficient staff to take 25 shots, it's still not enough to establish a rhythm at 6 per quarter. This will lead to them being exposed for not having a well rounded team or discontent in the locker room by one or maybe two of the big three and possibly the rest of the rotation.

That's not even that bad part, I am really about to piss off the Heat fans. The Big Three does not have a reputation for being healthy. Bosh has NEVER played all 82 games and only twice has he played more that 70. He, on average, misses 10 games per year.

Wade has NEVER played all 82 games and only three times has he played more than 70 games. He, on average, misses 15 games per year.

James has NEVER played all 82 games and on average, he misses 4 games per year.

On average, the Big Three will miss 29 games next year! They better hope none are injured at the same time.

In summation, this team does not have the make-up from a personnel standpoint, be it the Big Three or the supporting cast (whomever they might be), to run a balanced offense nor survive injury.

It's just not happening unless someone drastically alters their current game.

All those numbers u just put up don't mean shit. It was really a waste of time but the reasons they put up those high shots per game was because they had to now that they have HELP they not gonna have to shoot alot which will make their percentage higher. Bron is gonna average damn near a triple double ima call that now, Wade will probally lead the team in scoring and Bosh gonna lead in blocks and rebounds. I'm high as shut and forgot my point but I'm out peace

Show me any evidence in the history of the league that supports this claim. There has been bigger trios, Olajuwon, Barkley, Pippen for instance, but they never make the finals!

i mean if drose was 6'8 he'd have lebron numbers

drose kicked lebrons ass in the playoffs

Euh if Rose was Lebron's height he wouldnt have Rose's skills. Have you ever seen someone LeBron' height with Rose' quickness, handle and speed?

He doesnt exist.

Also, Lebron as a SF is better then Rose as PG. Rose should be ashamed a SF has MUCH better court vision then him.

This ninjaz are in their prime, not about to retire like olajuwon, barkley and pippen.

Where you miss with your analysis is that you dont mention how the game will open up for all three guys due to not being the focal point of the defense.

They will all be taking much easier shots, and do as much damage but with less shots.

Bosh will never see a double team as a member of the Miami Heat. Ever.

How their season goes all depends on who they fill out their roster with but I have no worries for their big three.

If they don't get better and more shooters than just Mike Miller, I'm putting all five defenders in the paint. All game.

Lol, yeah I know but their jumpers are not that bad. Bosh is actually the second best jump shooting PF after Dirk. Wade`s is very good as well. LeBron still has horrible though.

Anyways, we will see who they fill their roster with. I ddnt hear about them going after Bell. Surprised about that.

The Bulls Ain't Winning nothing! 1st of all they have no coach, they have no bench, and they have a owner that's cheap as hell. Michael jordan had to threaten to retire in order to get paid. They told Scottie to trust them knowing all the time the owners were going to put in a rule that you can't renegociate an existing contract! They did'n wanna even pay Phil Jackson, that's why he's on the lakers. If you think getting an overpaid allways hurt Boozer is the answer you're sadley mistaken. They will have a worst record than they had last year!!

People hear shit on ESPN and swear its the fuckin gospel. Reinsdorf isnt cheap, he owns two teams, both are reasonably succesful year in, year out. He paid Mike 30 mil a year the last two titles and he didnt even wanna do that. Can you blame him??? You know how much money that is for ONE player. Mike or not, man thats 30 Mil a year!!! Next years cap is a little over 58 mil... Youve got more than half of it tied into ONE guy!!! That aint cheap, nobody else ever paid that much in any sport period... As to why he hasnt gobe over the cap... Well He knows what a frachise player looks like and before this offseason, who in the league came on the market was worth payin the luxuery tax for??? You can put a competitive team on the court without going over the cap... Thats what the fuck its there for. Shit aint a guide line. Payin the tax is a fuckin punishment for going. Only a dumbass would fault an owner for following the rules. Just like Wade questioning the Bulls loyalty to its players without having facts straight.

Pippen signed a long ass contract that Ive heard people in the Bulls own front office told him not to sign. Why the fuck would you renegotiate??? Your boss aint just gonna give you a raise cause you deserve it. Hes gonna pay you as little as he can get away with, while gettin all he can out of you.

As for Phil. Mike was due another contract, as was Pip and Rodman if I remember correctly. Mike wasnt commin back for the league minimum, neither was Pip or Rodman... Just to sign those 3 would have broke the bank, then you have Phil askin the for the world and all the clouds in it. Man I dont blame him for not bringin people back. Shit it comes a time when you in reality cant afford it anymore. But I guess you would have went broke bringin everybody back to find out that they couldnt win another one. Keep in mind this is ONE owner. I bet if people were puttin their own money up, youd see some muthafuckas thinkin a little different.

The no coach thing... Everbody gotta start somewhere, I rememeber when people said the same shit about Doc Rivers. As for the no bench, the Boozer comment and them not even breaking .500... Youre either throwin salt, or just plain dumb. But Ill leave that for others to decide.

Watch their record this year and then talk to me!!

Put your money up. Paypay, 50 bones they have a better record than last season...

Notice he got smart and didnt respond... Hed may of well had just wired the money as soon as he said deal.

50-55 wins with a Rookie head coach ?? He's a defensive specialist, offense is not his strong points.. This might turn into a Mike brown experiment minus lebron.. :smh::smh: I can bet you the bucks will have a better record than the bulls though.

:smh:

Look at my team and tell me theyre not good/one of the best in the league.
We've played good basket all this year. and we havent got blown out like we did in the past by the leagues elites teams.

The Lakers, Spurs and Celtics had trouble with us and barely beat us by 10 points.
And to think...we're working with a very skimpy roster.

D Rose for MVP!
:D

That boy is ballin!
Keep it real.
I cant wait til we get boozer back.
I dont think we're a championship team yet...but we're pretty damn close.

GO BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!

Too fast, too strong, too big, too good.

I remember getting heat for saying Rose is better than CP3 in that best point gaurd thread.

I know Rose was hurt, but Why in the Blue Hell was Lucas in there with the game on the line. :smh:

I'm sayin'. Too many NBA kats can't even make free throws. They had the game won. They blew this game and the game against San Antonio.

i dont like Luol Deng at all

They blew the Laker game too. I'm watching the refs keep Sacramento at the line in the 1st quarter, wtf

It's like it's hit or miss with dude. He could be good if he was more consistant. He plays too soft, imo. It's gonna be a major difference once Boozer works himself into the lineup.
