I don't see it happening without someone making a major change to their game. I am gonna hit you with just the numbers to try to make this argument logical. Hopefully this will allow us to level-set.
We can agree that Bosh, James and Wade are bulk shooters. They averaged 16.9, 25.2 and 22.8 shots per game in 09-10 respectively! In the 09-10, NBA teams averages 77 shots per game. At their current rate they would take about 65 shots per game.
I don't care what role players they bring in, the other 5 players in an 8 man rotation cannot be effective taking only 12 shots. that is the equivalent of "hussle play" shot and tip-ins. At their current rate no-one but the big three would be able to take a shot with-in the offense.
Now that we have established that they are going to have to share the ball with themselves and whatever other cast members, lets project that they will all have to take less shots. In order for them to mesh offensively, they are all going to have to take 20% less shots than they normally would (this is a conservative estimate, my gut tells me 25%).
If we cut their shots and free throws by 20% (less shots = less free throws) they will put up, based off of 09-10 shooting and free-throw percentages, 19.4 points on 13.5 shots (Bosh), 26.5 points on 20.16 shots (James) and 22.8 points on 18.24 shots (Wade). That leaves amounts to 68.7 points on 52 shots per game.
Two things must happen: the big three are going to have to rely on a subpar supporting cast to take 25 shots or one of them (maybe two) will have to take a disproportionate amount of shots. Even if they had a sufficient staff to take 25 shots, it's still not enough to establish a rhythm at 6 per quarter. This will lead to them being exposed for not having a well rounded team or discontent in the locker room by one or maybe two of the big three and possibly the rest of the rotation.
That's not even that bad part, I am really about to piss off the Heat fans. The Big Three does not have a reputation for being healthy. Bosh has NEVER played all 82 games and only twice has he played more that 70. He, on average, misses 10 games per year.
Wade has NEVER played all 82 games and only three times has he played more than 70 games. He, on average, misses 15 games per year.
James has NEVER played all 82 games and on average, he misses 4 games per year.
On average, the Big Three will miss 29 games next year! They better hope none are injured at the same time.
In summation, this team does not have the make-up from a personnel standpoint, be it the Big Three or the supporting cast (whomever they might be), to run a balanced offense nor survive injury.
It's just not happening unless someone drastically alters their current game.
All those numbers u just put up don't mean shit. It was really a waste of time but the reasons they put up those high shots per game was because they had to now that they have HELP they not gonna have to shoot alot which will make their percentage higher. Bron is gonna average damn near a triple double ima call that now, Wade will probally lead the team in scoring and Bosh gonna lead in blocks and rebounds. I'm high as shut and forgot my point but I'm out peace
