You're dating an Indian young lady whose family has been living in Uganda for decades.
In addition, you should be aware that even though they are Indian they have incorporated some Ugandan traditions into their culture.
So, one day your girlfriend, Tamla, invites you to a family gather and you met her Aunty Chala.
Aunty Chala is very friendly for the first few minutes, but after about 40 minutes into the party she let's you know that her niece needs a man that is good in bed.
You look confused, and Aunty starts to get very personal with you, and wants to know if you think you can "satisfy" her?
By now you're blushing and you want to get up and leave, but she retreats and says she is just kidding.
About 15 minutes later she approachs you and Tamla, and tells Tamla I need to steal your man away from you for a few minutes.
Aunty Chala said that she needs you to help her carry a few items that are in the freezer that is located in the basement of the house, so you follow her down there.
Only to find that she has ulterior motives.
I did a little research and this practice actually exist:
One prominent example is the
Banyankole tribe in Uganda, where historically, the bride's aunt would perform a "test" of the groom's sexual abilities before the marriage is consummated. This involved the aunt having sexual intercourse with the groom to assess his potency and viability as a husband. The aunt would also be present to confirm the bride's virginity. These rituals emphasized the value placed on virginity within the Banyankole tribe.
