Ivermectin hasn’t been proven to work, not because it doesn’t, but because there are no clinical trials for it. There is some evidence that it could work, but without a clinical trial it’s all just speculation.

There’s been no clinical trial because ivermectin is off patent, and big pharma has no incentive to do a study to prove whether it works.

India is basically fucked. Not sure that it’s that bad of a choice given ivermectin is seen as generally a safe drug

At least two Indian states have said they plan to dose their populations with the anti-parasitic drug ivermectin to protect against severe COVID-19 infections as their hospitals are overrun with patients in critical condition.
The move by Goa and Uttarakhand, come despite the World Health Organization and others warning against such measures.

Merck, a manufacturer of the drug, has also said available data does not support using the drug as a COVID-19 treatment.
"We do not have enough data to support its use," said Anita Mathew, an infectious diseases expert in Mumbai.

Let me put this out here!!! About 6 or so months ago I spoke to my personal mentor who has been a physician / specialist in private practice, here in Oakland for over 40+ years. He also runs several government clinics in the Bay Area, so I asked him about the efficacy of the supposed vaccinations. He then told me about "Ivermectin", which he is prescribing for himself and his family!!!
