Marriage means something different to everyone. Identity, stability, connections, companionship, consistent sex, merged assets, love, the family lifestyle, all or any of the aforementioned and then some. The only team it implies is the family itself.
The only time I'll talk down on interracial marriage is if either or both partners tied the knot and had kids without accepting the struggle. The white half has to understand that they just put a target on their back. The Black half just increased the size of the target they were already born with. Not only does your partner have to be worth it, you need to have strategies to deal with police, landlords, employers, banks, relatives and so forth.

Now this mother is gorgeous,well established, educated and works in advocacy for underprivileged. She hyped up her friend and said she thought we would be good together. She mentioned her friend has a son from a previous marriage and that she is on good terms with her ex. When i got home I googled her friend and see she was married to a CAC too.
