Museums
In a strenuous measure to contain the virus, the Italian government has ordered the closure of all museums.
Initially, just several museums in Milan, Venice and other areas in northern Italy were closed temporarily, set to reopen with new safety measures, but in recent days, the situation in Italy has escalated. As a result, all of the country's museums have temporarily shuttered.
Museums around China have been forced to temporarily close their doors due to the outbreak. In response, China's National Cultural Heritage Administration (NCHA) has asked them to stay active on social media and offer their services digitally. These include Beijing's Palace Museum in the Forbidden City, which has been closed since January 25.
Several museums in Japan have temporarily shuttered

As to whether you should cancel or keep any upcoming travel plans, it's a personal calculation for each traveler.

IMO, some of these cancellations are getting to be excessive.

I think one thing that might be fueling some of these cancellations is the fear of getting sued.

This is just the tip of the iceberg.

It really isn't excessive at all.

Most these festivals feature crowds that are hundreds or thousands that are sweating, breathing and possibly coughing /sneezing in real close proximity to one another.

Canceling in the correct move.

JEOPARDY & WHEEL OF FORTUNE TO FILM WITHOUT STUDIO AUDIENCE

Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy are taking precautions when it comes to the coronavirus.

Sources familiar with the series confirm that for the time being, both shows will go without a live studio audience as they continue to monitor the situation. Reps for Sony, which produces both, declined to comment. Sources say that Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy are both scheduled to tape to mid-April.

The decision to forgo the live studio audience was done as a precaution amid concerns over Jeopardy host Alex Trebek, given that he is battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer and is undergoing treatment and chemotherapy.

The average audience member for both Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy is over 60. A study cited by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention notes those above age 60 are at a higher risk of getting ill from the virus.

All of the U.S. "leadership" in government and the private sector is older; this virus is tailored made for them, could we deal with them dropping like flies? They can be replaced but the psychological trauma could be too much for some people.

You saw what it did in that nursing home in Washington.
