CORONA VIRUS CANCELLATIONS SO FAR

You haven't been paying attention to what's been going on in other countries or the first hand accounts of medical personnel.
I have.

Although it's serious, it's not like the virus in the movie "Outbreak" for instance.

It's like a new strain of the Flu that is getting a lot of press.

There have been 8,200+ Flu deaths in America THIS YEAR. Where is the quarantine for this?!

It's still early and maybe I'm wrong. Who knows.

You can put a wrap on the NBA season. :smh:

If he got it, theres a good chance some of the Sixers may have it as well.

My girl works in the medical field.. this is worse then FLU.

The real shit that every one worries about that they aren't talking about is the risk of further mutation the longer this thing spreads...

It's already mutated twice...

Cats are up hear talking about the Mortality rate when we don't even have a full sample of this thing yet. We really just started talking about it December 1.... the first known case in the US was in January ... In a little less then 2 months... we have 2,000 cases and no idea who else has it because we aren't testing..

People can lose 20 to 30% of there lung capacity even if you don't die from this... My girl says that it feels like an prolonged asthma attack .... that you have trouble catching your breathe.. this is why Older people have the biggest risk..

This is why its important to limit exposure and kill it as quick as possible..... before it changes to resistant version..

This is what gives me a lot of hope that things will return to normal very soon.

There are thousands of restaurants in this country. Millions of people eating out every day. You would think this would create all kinds of issues w/ people getting sick, but it hasn't.

I know it's early, but c'mon. This can not and will not stop this country from moving. These delays are merely for legal reasons ONLY. Sport and entertainment have to be seen at least making an effort to stop the spread of this shit, but only for a short time, then it's back to business as usual.

To me, at the end of the day, this will always be the Flu 2.0 and will certainly kill some people, but the OG Flu will still be the under the radar mass killer it's always been. The Flu just doesn't have a catchy name attached to it. Like, MichelobVirus or ShlitzMaltliquorMutha. It's just the same Flu that's been around for hundreds of years killing people by the hundreds of thousands annually.

Enjoy your 4 year supply of toilet tissue and hand sanitizer you fuckin' morons. Shit will be back to normal in no time.

Fam.. they closed the court house until April...

I’ve seen everything.. we lived through a tornado.. I’ve seen SARS and the Ebola scare..

They never ever close the court house.

Even when niggas shouldn’t be driving on the roads ... the courthouse especially the Federal court house has been opened...

When Judicial Bar sends out a fucking memo to people telling them that we may have to do shit through FaceTime and Zoom... Kats need to take shit seriously.

We probably won’t have regular court until after April 15..

This is a pandemic for a reason..

Business booming for cam girls amid coronavirus outbreak

Coronavirus isn’t the only thing causing temperatures to rise across the globe — cam girls are, too.

Business is booming for sexy solo performers as millions of holed-up horndogs look to relieve their outbreak anxiety, XXX workers say.

“If you’re trying to sell porn, having the entire country cooped up at home with nothing to do is kind of a dream scenario,” said Los Angeles-based porn star Kate Kennedy.
Kennedy, 25, opened an account a week ago on the site OnlyFans, where users pay $10 a month to watch her perform sex acts, fold laundry nude and brush her teeth.
She said she’s up to 100 subscribers and has made four figures in tips and fees — about what she typically made in a month.

“Cam girls and content creators are doing business like crazy,” Kennedy said.

Miami-based Joslyn Jane — who hawks sexy solo sex videos and partner performances on OnlyFans and sells others for $5.99 to $32 on the site ManyVids — said she has raked in about $1,700 a week in tips and sales, up from an average of $1,050.

“There is a lot going on,” said Jane, 29. “And we are definitely taking fans’ minds off this.”
Many are feverish with anticipation.

“I guess I’m staying in and watching cam girls all night,” @Hologram_Matrix tweeted. “Where’s my Corona hoe’s at?”

Not all sex workers are raking in the corona cash. Strippers who get up close and personal with clientele are ditching the pole and singing the COVID-19 blues.

“I have decided to stay as far away from all clubs,” said dancer Tyler Faith.

“I have canceled quite a few appearances. Have to be safe in these times.”

HUD Secretary Ben Carson coughs into hand at coronavirus news conference
By Adam Schrader

A Cabinet-level cough on video set off a Twitter storm.
The tweets came fast and furious after HUD Secretary Ben Carson committed a coronavirus etiquette faux pas at a White House news conference.
The former neurosurgeon stepped up to the podium to make a few remarks. But he only gets a few words out — “Thank you, Mr. Vice President” — before he coughs into his hand, touches his face and then touches the podium.
Moments earlier, President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence had spoken into the same microphone.
The Twitterati weren’t kind to Carson.
“Even my 4 year old baby cousin knows better than to cough and sneeze into her hands instead of her elbow at least #bencarson,” @quesada_Kayla posted.
“The first thing Ben Carson does is cough into his hand. Nice,” wrote @mikereinholz777.
@TomDangora wrote: “Ben Carson just now showing us how NOT to cough!”

Teacher’s union escalates fight with de Blasio over NYC school closures amid coronavirus

The powerful New York teacher’s union has escalated its latest beef with Mayor Bill de Blasio, urging parents to demand school closures over coronavirus concerns.
“Because of his irresponsible decision to keep the public schools open, Mayor Bill de Blasio can no longer assure the health and safety of our students and school communities,” wrote Michael Mulgrew, president of the United Federation of Teachers, in an email to its members.
“The mayor is recklessly putting the health of our students, their families and school staff in jeopardy by refusing to close public schools. We have a small window of time to contain the coronavirus before it penetrates into our communities and overwhelms our health care system’s capacity to safely care for all the New Yorkers who may become gravely ill,” he continued.
The UFT wants parents to call 311 — which has already been flooded with calls regarding the coronavirus — to demand that the city close schools and maintain services for “medically fragile students and other vulnerable children.”
Teachers have already called for a “mass sick out,” urging teachers to call in sick to defy the mayor — who has repeatedly defended his stance that schools should remain open.
More than 1.1 million students attend more than 1,900 public schools in the city.

With his staffers serving as a live audience due to coronavirus concerns, Bill Maher (before taking Real Time on a temporary hiatus) dedicated his opening monologue to how the country went from “zero to crazy in about three seconds” thanks to the meteoric spread, and inadequate government response, of COVID-19. “There’s a new protocol in place, because Trump, whenever he talks, things get worse. So it’s called: Operation Shut the Fuck Up,” Maher explained. “Because, you know, Trump, he was in the Rose Garden today, and he’s lost if he can’t brag about the stock market. He’s like a porn star whose dick fell off. He’s got nothing!” Maher also implored Trump, who said he’s “most likely” going to be tested for the coronavirus, to go away for awhile with a pool of Purell — especially since he stood in close proximity to a Brazilian officer who tested positive. “He’s been exposed, and is exposing himself constantly to people who have the virus,” Maher said. “The Brazilian dude, and the guy at CPAC, and the congressman. He needs to be quarantined! Lock him up! Lock him up! Lock him up!”

I get all that.

All I'm saying is that the Flu is a proven mass killer that is transmitted just like Corona and there has never been mention of a quarantine.

I get that this is in it's infancy and I could be 100% wrong.

My main issue is that there are still SEVERAL points of contact i.e. restaurants, stores, gyms, etc.

I'm sure in two months we will have a much clearer picture. My bet is that most things are back to normal just with a heightened concern about transmission of all airborne communicable diseases.

The problem is, its more contagious & more lethal for those at risk. Bottom line.

Bacteria morph's(?) & this will be back to haunt us all a few years from now. Possibly next flu season! Thats the alarm & warning.

This is a test run. Lay off them lung darts(cigarettes) & blunts. Next wave, you may be the first line for casualties.

Proceed.

PS These sorry, soft body cats think they will bounce back like a Donovan Mitchell while they inhale 3 backwoods a day & dont exercise. Health is #1 , fuck your money fat boy:lol:
