YOU CAN get pulled over for tinted windows:

Not for just any tinted windows everywhere.

But you should get them done professionally because legally they can be tinted with less than 35% infraction. A legal shop will give you a certification.

Also the car is a visitor car registered in another state so that states law apply. That is why they didn't give him a ticket.

Back in the 80's they tried to make window tint illegal because they said police couldn't see in a the cars and that posed a danger.

They got push back from white people in states Like Texas,Arizona New Mexico as well as other places where it gets so hot that without tint AC was useless.

6 police cars for a window tint infraction is bullshit anyway. It was pure harassment

Please don't try this at home. Those cops could have taken the cameras, beat the crap out of them and charged them with disorderly conduct. They could have denied ever seeing a camera and that would have been the end of the case.

I believe in yes sir, no sir, thank you officer until I get before a judge. At that time I will present fact and challenge their case.

I think he was being a little over agressive, but the cops where just up to there usual bullshit and when called on it they get pissy. He was hostile which is why I think they called for backup, but the reality is that if they didn't have the camera's the cops could have said anything and more than likely the brothers would have lost. I watched other videos on there web site they have been threaten by the cops on a few occasions, and other situations that jumped out is when they ask them if they don't go by the cops orders are they breaking the law and the cops start stuttering or changing the subject.

Everyone should appreciate good cops when they do there job and don't abuse there power. But these guys have so many examples of cops who bend the rules, or make you give up information you don't have to and use it against you. If he would tone it down a tad bit he would have my 100 percent support, but right now he's at 99.9 percent:dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: support.

ehhh THE COPS SEEMED ALL COOL AND COLLECT, THE DRIVER ON THE OTHER HAND WAS ALL CONFRONTATIONAL ( LIKE HE LOOKING FOR A ASS WHOOPING PAYDAY OR SOMETHING) BUT BASICALLY WHO CARES??...THE COPS WASNT WRONG FOR STOPPING HIM ALL THAT OTHER SHIT HE SAID IS ERELAVANT AND THE DRIVER WASNT WRONG HE DIDNT HAVE TO ANSWER SHIT PUT COUGH UP THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS, TAKE HIS TICKET AND CARRY HIS ASS SO LET THE JUDGE/JURY HEAR IT. I'M GONNA NEED 24 MINUTES OF MY LIFE BACK PLAYBOY. P.S. FIRE PAUL THE "THE CAMERAMAN".

And risk that there might be a third cameraman lurking somewhere filming? :smh:
LAPD has one of the worst reps in the U.S. as well as some of the lowest credibility in the eyes of the public.
Oh, if they went into a store with their cameras, they could easily request footage from the store's security camera as proof that they had cameras with them. You can shoot all kind of holes in your impetuous course of actions. That kind of shit would fly in 1990, not in 2011. They were on a street with cars passing by. Now if you saw LAPD beating some black folks down as you drove by, tell me for sure that no one would whip out their camera phone and try to record it.
Don't forget that some cameras stream directly to the internet as well. Can you imagine trying to explain to your superiors that they didn't have a camera while they are watching the footage of what you did on a laptop right in front of you?
Not smart, man.

That's far from the truth. Being able to drive in another state is a courtesy because you are not licensed/registered/insured to drive your car in another state.

I'd like to see that nigga come down to TX, LA, MS, AL, or GA with that bullshit.

I got a great uncle that went into Mississippi in the 50s and was never seen nor heard from again...fuck outta here.

Driving in another state ain't no damn courtesy. If you are a valid licensed driver in your home state you can drive anywhere in the U.S, Canada and Mexico.

Driving in the U.S most of the states have a interstate compact with each other... for example... if you licensed in New Mexico and your licensed is suspended there and you get stopped in NY and they run your license. You will get arrested for driving with a suspended license even though you are not licensed in NY.

He also fucked up by saying he notice the man's car in that neighborhood for a month. Why is he watching for that's man vehicle? Sounds like harassment to me

Exactly and not only that a lawyer will rip him to fuckin pieces for that statement cause it will be followed with "Sgt did you make a memo book notation of the times and dates you saw this vehicle in the area a month prior?" of course he will say no... did the lawyer will follow with "so how do you know you saw my clients vehicle?

I know how this shit works already..

So if they beat his ass and took his camera then what? that would have been the short term answer not knowing someone from down the block or across the street were filming them...

You don't know who's filming you nowadays

WRONG PLAYBOY...See this is how we get fucked up we "think" we know the law instead of reading up on it but no matter what state your in...driving is a "courtesy" afforded to you provided you met the requirements to drive on that state or any state highway ..that's right ladies and gents a priviledge. This is why that license you have that is "valid" can be suspended, revoked AND taken by the officer on the spot if found to be such, the same goes for your license plates,,,THEY BELONG to the state not you and be can checked for any or no reasons while your driving down the street by the officer and if they don't belong on that particular car can be taken by the officer on the spot...BECAUSE THEY BELONG TO THE STATE not you.

I have never.....I mean never have I seen cops cower down like these cops. Look at the cop at the 12:15 mark. He looked scared and passive as shit. I respect dude for doing what he did, but he was a bit over the top.I also understand his frustration and anger.
At the end of the day, you risk getting beat down, phone destroyed and going to jail. Know your rights and do at your own risk.

Give that man a medal.

The bottom line with filming the fuzz if they're doing their job correctly why should they care if folks whipping out cameras.

It's the same as when doctors don't want you there when they operate. They might do something to make them liable and not be able to cover it up like they usually do.

greatest vid ever, show this video to every black person u know...real talk.
exercise your rights.
learn the laws in your state and dont let these clowns in blue costumes trick u into giving up your rights.

You obviously missed what I stated... I responded in the fact that homie said driving in another state is a courtesy cause you are not licensed in the state you are driving it.. for example you are licensed in NY but driving in NJ.. your not licensed in NJ so technically you are unlicensed to drive am I correct? driving is a priviledge in the fact that what ever state you are licensed in you are awarded that priviledge to drive... please don't mistake what I said as if I said driving is a right. I said no such thing. ,

YOU CAN get pulled over for tinted windows:

Should it apply to out of State motorist? The driver did present his Florida license and registration. I live in New Jersey, window Glazing is illegal on the front driver and passenger side and front window, but have seen state and county unmarked police cars and truck with tint. The laws are created for the mis-informed to insight fear of authority. The cops used the window glazing excuse to pull him over, then stated the car is illegally registered in California due to he seeing his car two weeks ago. Did the officer recorded the drivers plates from two weeks ago, and if so that's not any violation on a reason to pull someone over. So if i'm on vacation for 2 Week and one day in CA from Jersey then the CA police have a right to charge me with illegal residency.

http://www.ftb.ca.gov/forms/06_forms/06_1031.pdf

Residency laws are based on tax structure, the state government do not want you living their for free. The driver would had to been a living in CA for at least 9 months to be in violation of any residency laws. Perfect example misuse of the law in insight fear to the misinformed.

So I guess the Presidential motorcade can be and will be stopped, all of Obama's secret service SUV's windows are tinted.

:smh::smh::smh:

First sign of trouble from a criminal with a gun and that dude will be crying the cops didn't come fast enough to prevent him from getting robbed. I understand dude was upset, but when it comes to cops I see them as organized gangs with guns who have the right to use lethal force. Folk like that I pick my battles with carefully.
I woulda taken the citation and bounced. Woulda saved myself 20 minutes talking to those idiots. He's fighting a losing battle.

I will never address police officers as 'sir', they are civil servants.

The vehicle was registered in Florida where tinted windows are legal, the cops decided to fuck with him after they saw him filming a earlier traffic stop, once they made contact they realized who he was.
