With all the things that are going wrong with our economy and how fucked up and capitalism is. I think Karl Marx was right.

I think communism/socialism could work. Everybody be equal, no exploitation by these fucking super companies. No private companies fucking up peoples lives and the economy and then asking the Federal Government for help.

None of the Exxon Mobile and oil giants raping us everyday. None of the rich getting richer. Just everybody are fucking equal.

Really, neither one of these systems are any good. They both give the state or business all the power. With capitalism ,it just took a while. These systems (capitalism/communism) are designed to remove power and money from people. They are two sides of the same coin.:smh:

I agree... As the wise natives once said.. "we had the best economy.. we hunted for food when we were hungry.. had sex with our women, breathed clean air... Nobody in Debt, No Government in control, just people, free people..!!"

Just one problem with that. We are not all equal. We all have different talents; some being better than others. The only way for us all to be equal on that level is for all of us to be mediocre.......Is that what you really want?

People can do different things and work in different professions but every one makes the same.

I seen Lil Wayne and Baby literally putting diamonds in their refrigerator because its "ICE"

and you got people starving in the hood with no gas money to look for jobs.

You got The super rich and the dirt poor and that shit aint right nigga

I go to medical or law school, or invent something that revolutionizes the way we live and I still make as much money as a janitor?

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Sad but true, not everything is done because it's the right thing, or its because something people love, a brain surgeon should not be making the same amount as a janitor, sorry buddy you fail..

The shit doesn't work homey. Lenin started it, Stalin corrupted it. Its fucked up, but its true.

It didn't work because human(or those you refered to) got greedy and got power drunk then the oppression of the weak and poor got it crumbled.

Most people aren't movitvated now...what would make you think that someone would go to school for 8 years to become a doctor to make as much as someone that is on fries at McDonalds??? Communism is just an idea, it doesn't do well in real world application. Why??? Because we as people are greedy and jealous. Capitalism may not be the best type of economy, but i will take it over anything else. At least you have an opportunity to make it, everything else pretty much just lets you starve, with no chance to do anything about it. A communist government pretty much keeps all the money and lives lovely, while the rest of the people starve and suffer.

Socialism is only reserved for the Rich

C/S! If the OP really thinks Communism works, look no further than 90 miles off the shores of Florida! That system of gov't is really working in Cuba isn't it? People breaking their asses to get here and with limited support from Russia, Cuba is headed straight downhill! Think before you write OP!

Until humanity as a whole starts thinking like this, all current economic systems have their pros and cons.

Capt. Jean-Luc Picard: "The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in our lives. We work to better ourselves, and the rest of humanity."

listen to how stupid you are

If no one can afford health insurance, Doctors wont get paid! You stupid fuck!

Who do you think pay a doctors salary? The Hospital?

All you people care about is money anyway. You cant make all the loot in the world but be scared to leave your crib at night because niggas are starving and want some of that cake.

If someone wants to become a doctor strictly for the money, they wont make it through Med School anyway.

Russia fucked up communism because they started deviating from the initial plans Marx had set up.

China is a communism country and Cuba them motherfuckers doing damn fine

No one can afford health insurance? Brah, like 85% of the population has some type of health insurance. That's hardly broken. A national health care plan is political drivel to get votes.

China is the ONLY communist government that has been able to make communism work. Well at least better than any other government that has tried it.

45.7 Million in U.S. Lack Health Insurance
Uninsured Rate Drops to 15.3% as Safety Nets Kick In

Aug. 26, 2008 -- For the first time in years, fewer Americans lack health insurance.

The U.S. Census Bureau today announced that 45.7 million of us had no health insurance in 2007. That's 1.3 million fewer uninsured Americans than in 2006.

And while it's not good news that 8.1 million U.S. children went without health insurance of any kind in 2007, that's 600,000 fewer uninsured kids than in 2006. And while 17.6% of children living in poverty didn't have health insurance in 2007, that's down from 19.3% the year before.

Unfortunately, the welcome numbers don't mean the U.S. health care system is in good health. The improvement comes almost entirely from the nation's safety net -- government-funded insurance programs, mostly Medicare and the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP).

"Insured" here means having any kind of health insurance -- private plans linked to employment or directly purchased; or government plans linked to Medicare, Medicaid, or the military. It doesn't mean the plans actually protect against devastating medical bills, says health care economist Karen Davis, PhD, president of The Commonwealth Fund, a private foundation.

"Whether or not people have any insurance coverage at all is just the tip of the iceberg," Davis tells WebMD. "Many people have health insurance that doesn't protect them from high bills or even assure them of care. It's a serious problem: 25 million U.S. adults are underinsured, up from 16 million two years ago."

Uninsured Americans don't get their health care for free. In 2008 they will have paid $30 billion out of pocket for health care, Jack Hadley, PhD, and colleagues at George Mason University note in the Aug. 25 issue of Health Affairs.

Moreover, Hadley and colleagues calculate, the government will have paid $56 billion to cover these uncompensated health care costs.

That's not the only sign the U.S. system is in trouble. The backbone of the U.S. health care system is employment-linked insurance coverage. Some 160 million Americans depend on this kind of coverage. But even in a year when uninsured rates are down, this kind of insurance is going down: from 59.7% of the population in 2006 to 59.3% of the population in 2007.

"As that continues to erode, one worries we are headed for even lower numbers," Davis says. "This means we need a comprehensive solution to deal with our fragmented health care delivery system and some guarantee that everyone can get coverage that is it supportable."

It's not just the pocketbook that gets hurt. A recent study shows that heart attacks are much worse for underinsured patients -- even when they get the same immediate care as fully insured patients.

Health Insurance Disparity

The census numbers also reveal a serious disparity in insurance coverage. In 2007:

* 10.4% of non-Hispanic whites are uninsured
* 19.5% of non-Hispanic blacks are uninsured
* 32.1% of Hispanics are uninsured
* 16.8% of Asians are uninsured

Based on a three-year (2005-2007) average (due to relatively small populations):

* 32.1% of American Indian/Alaska Natives are uninsured
* 20.5% of Native Hawaiians/Pacific Islanders are uninsured

As one might expect, insurance coverage drops as household income falls:

* Uninsurance rate for people in households making less than $25,000: 24.5%
* Uninsurance rate for people in households making $25,000-$49,999: 21.1%
* Uninsurance rate for people in households making $50,000-$74,999: 14.5%
* Uninsurance rate for people in households making $75,000 or more: 7.8%

-----------------

And for the record, communism doesn't work. Ask China & the "former" Soviet Union. In fact, BRIC = (Brazil, Russia, India, China) are all considered "emerging markets" because they decided to embrace capitalism. What we don't realize is the free market stimulates growth because it gives individuals incentive to run businesses that acquire capital. The side of that we refuse to acknowledge it that millions are employed because of it.

you just dis proved your own statement with those stats. Thanks!

If you want us all to go to a communist method, then let's start with the basics. If we all have the same and no class distinction, then instead of saving to buy the latest Jordans, Akademics, of Tommy gear, we all will have the same brand of George from Wal-Mart. Why? Since we are all on the same level, then there will be no need for expensive wear or differnt clothing. It would be more economical for each of us to have the same thing, and we all share in the collective struggle.

For those "elitist" at schools like Columbia, Yale and others, then they should be told to go to places like Alcorn State, Austin P, and USSB, Westark Community college, since going to a leading institution like the others obviously creates an unfair advantage for those who do not get a chance to go there.

What is wrong with Capitalism, is that the rich make the rules and expect everyone to play by them, but when their own rules come back to bite them in the ass (like today's Wall Street sell off) then they are crying for government support. They made a good run at ripping off people, so they should be made to pay the price. But still, a bit more regulation in some of the financial industries, not so much to stifle growth but to discourage unfair trade practices is needed.

As long as there are regulations keeping the top of the food chain honest and a safety net keeping the bottom of the food chain from completely collapsing that is the best you are going to get in a nation with a population this large. Problem today is that the top of the food chain is being allowed to act in a parasitic and very non-capitalist manner. When you have corporations being mismanaged on THIS level while the people responsible for the mismanagement are allowed to walk away with HUGE compensation packages while the company itself sits back and waits to be rescued by the government, that is NOT capitalism. These companies AND those that run them into the ground should take the brunt of these hits, NOT the taxpayers. People LOVE to complain about safety net programs that are minimal in size and impact on the economy while a handful of people clean out their 401K and bank accounts. This money is not just disappearing into the ether, people are actually TAKING this money out of the economy and hording it. Once again, that is NOT capitalism.

I think capitalism would be a pretty good system of motivating people (americans) only if we truly had "Free Markets." Government is way too large now, and it's in everyones business, including businesses (through taxes and tarifs etc...)

If you could keep what you earn, that would spark people to create better goods and services. Goverment pretty much kills a start up business before it even gets off of the ground. You have to have a lot of capital to get a halfway decent chance of succeding. That kills it for poor people with good ideas...

Government is the problem...

A 50 year embargo not withstanding Cuba is "working" in many respects and in a few notable areas far better then the U.S.. That being said Cuba is not communist. In fact there has been NO communist country ever....it is a Utopian theoretical system that requires all countries to be participating. What you have is varying forms of socialism mixed with capitalism in most countries that you would label "communist".

Uninsured Rate Drops to 15.3% as Safety Nets Kick In

If 15.3% = 15% are uninsured, that would mean 84.7% = 85% ppl have health insurance. That article is barely 1 month old.

Either way, the issue isn't health insurance. This issue is people expect to work minimum wage entry level jobs as careers & get health insurance. That's not going to work. You have to increase your skill set to find employment that offers health care or pays enough so that you can afford some health care on your own. The stats show a positive correlation with income & benefits. Therefore, the more in demand your skills, products, services are the more you'll be paid as en employee or business owner. Since most of us work for a living, we have to increase our marketable skills to get better jobs.

A good example would be nursing. I know someone who just got an associates & had like 3 or 4 jobs offers immediately.

All forms will eventually fail cause of the greed of man.

Bingo!

All forms of economic development are merely academic. They assume optimal human function/behavior, which we all know, is NEVER optimum.

...it's all a hustle, and everyone is trying to get theirs.

Why does communisim/socialism fail...simple. Will it be George Bush, Dick Cheney, Barack Obama and the Clintons, The Kennedy's the Rockerfellas and the Rothchilds making $8.50 an hour for the rest of their lives or will it be you and I? Everybody making the same amount? Okay!:smh:
But dont worry about none of that shit...Barack Obama will save us!

Co fucking sign:yes:

socialism works on paper, but man is too greedy to allow it to work in real life.

The only place socialism works is in the family. No matter how productive or unproductive you are, you're gonna get fed. However, that doesn't work in the real world. Every person has to be productive to earn their keep.
