Hmmm....good question. I haven't read it yet but from the costume, particularly the belt, I'm going to guess it's Bruce as well.
If it is associated with Dail H for Hero, then i'm thinking it's and 80's version of Batman/Bruce.
I ain't been in a comic shop in like 3 years. Conversations like this are good esp since I'm still kinda "iffy" when it comes to independent Hero Books regardless if a well known name is attached to it.
I'm in the comic shop erry wednesday...that's when they give me them shits 20% off.
thursdays 10% anytime after that..it's full price.
I get about 8 titles delivered straight from Marvel for about 50% off. anyways...

Well - Let's say this thread did not exist - there are a lot of indie comics that give free previews or complete issues on their main site, so that you can check them out before putting in the $.
With that said, I was raised in a family of comic book collectors. So I've read almost all of Marvel and DC's stories since the 80's and up. With Marvel I went back and read all of their old stuff back to their first days.
With DC - I stopped going back right when Crisis started.
So as I got older I wanted to read stories that had a little more realism. I mean I don't want it all explained and detailed but stay consistent. During the 90s - You kinda had the veil lifted and saw that these stories from the big two were all about the money. So it made some desensitized to the whoa storyline thing.
The Crow was the first book to give me an emotional response outside of excited glee...I was like
You know. Later TMNT got into my bloodstream...then Valiant and the rest.Some of the best stories are told when companies are fighting for your attention/money. So I always give indies a shot.
I'll tell you this - The Fall of Hal Jordan was one of the most shocking comic story lines that DC told in it's mainstream books. So reading that and the rise of Kyle was awesome. Once they brought him back and introduced Parallax as an entity...It really devalues those stories. Back then GL books was selling poorly and that storyline saved it.
