:smh: Dang it, why does The Punisher always come out later in the month it seems, this is killing me.....

I dont know if this is a re-post but I figured this would be the place to post all the Black Panther News I heard.

LINK

First for some reason they are replacing T'Challa with a woman. Apparently Reginald Hudlin isn't happy just being a failure in Television he wants to replace one of the only strong black male political leaders in comics exactly when real life might make people interested in the character.

Secondly they have a voice for the Animated character Djimon Hounsou. I was sort of hoping for the guy who did Goliath from Gargoyles.:dunno:

Link

But back to them replacing T'Challa. Dammit this has got to stop they killed Captain and ruined Spidey. Now this..... Damn

Marvel is SERIOUSLY fuckin up.. Kinda like how they are going to have the skrulls take over the Earth. Fuckin Stupid it is. They seem to want to change soo much, they have no clue what the hell they are doing. There's less coherency at Marvel than DC. FRAK EM!:angry::angry:

Fuck Hudlin dumb ass also.

^^^^^:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

How'd I miss that?

But on the real, that was Steve Rogers ghost/revenant/shade.

I'm talking about bringing him back to the land of the living.

NubianNectar, have you got City Of Dust issue 1?

I think if they bring him back, that would weaken his character (what he represents) and the story. I think it was a bold move to kill him and have Bucky take the mantle. The book is more interesting to see Bucky trying to find himself amidst Steve Rogers shadow and atone for his past.

I Think that Cap needs to return, but i'm surprised that they didn't use the Invasion as an easy out.

Now I'm not sure how they would be able to pull it off and make it believable. They showed his ghost talking to Thor so we know he was the one shot and he IS really dead.

Having Bucky as Cap has added more edge and interest to the book.
The only thing that is lacking is his leadership of the Avengers.
They need him more than anybody.

^^^I hear what you and hardcore_legend are saying but the fanboy in me still wants Steve Rogers back.

There's no justice in the world when you have a douche bag like Tony Stark shedding crocodile tears after orchestrating the hunting down and destruction of Captain America before initiating and facilitating a neo-fascist 5o state initiative and co-creating the Negative Zone Prison with Reed Richards.

Sure the Red Skull and Dr Faustus had a role in this travesty as well, but if Tony Stark hadn't been such a power hungry dick Cap would still be alive.

Bucky barnes is a cool replacement for the time being but that's all he is, a replacement.

does any1 remember Valor Thunderstar and his Fireflies? n i liked Hudlin's run @ 1st but he lost me with the FF/ Skrull/Zombie shit. That BP cartoon look like str8 Garbage!!!. i HOPE THAT THE FOOTAGE i SAW WAS JUST A PROMO N NOT ACTUAL ART FROM THE SHOW.

^^^Reginald Hudlin can eat a dick.

They need to get Christopher Priest back on Black Panther pronto before this hack fucks up the character more than he already has.:angry:

Christopher Priest: Black Panther vol. 3 #1-56, 59-62 Marvel Comics, November 1998-May 2003, July 2003-September 2003 :smh:

^^^I just wanna see the classic meeting in the Harlem Highschool between BP, Dr Doom and some other heavy hitters. Heard it was something of a classic.

P.S. Is there anyway to crack a RAR file without a password re: Ironwood links?

marvel always fucks up any hit they have, cant help it, look at supreme power? ultimates FF,xmen, avengers.

the thing i hate most about secret invasion is that it renders everything that makes any hero special into something that can be easily duplicated

ISSUES 1-20

Spawn is the most recognizable and popular character in the Image Comics' comic book universe. Created by writer/artist Todd McFarlane, he first appeared in Spawn #1 (May 1992). The book began with a very superhero-like tone, much like McFarlane's previous work, but the title character evolved into a more flawed anti-hero. The current book has skewed significantly darker than early issues would suggest. McFarlane attributes this to being a necessary part of development. To introduce the book to readers it had to be slightly cleaner than he really wished it to be so that it read like a superhero tale. As the book took off and became more established he was able to alter the tone closer to his vision.

A CIA agent killed by his own boss for witnessing his corruption, Al Simmons was sent to hell. To see his wife one more time, he made a deal with the demon Malebolgia to become an undead “hellspawn.” Spawn has tried to retain his own humanity while finding a way out of Malebolgia’s control and battling a variety of enemies, both supernatural and crime-related.

Largely due to the popularity McFarlane accumulated illustrating Marvel Comics’ Spider-Man, Spawn became an instant sales sensation and perhaps the most popular comic book character owned by a third company since Marvel and DC dominated the market in the 1960s.

I agree with that. Cap is THE Iconic Superhero of Marvel. He has lead Mutants, Mutagenics galore. They really do need to bring him back to the fold. As corny as it sounds, Marvel NEEDS captain america.

I got a feeling hell be back when the movie rolls around...
