where can i sell my old comics.>>>??????

Chances are that if you do not have classic issues or events of mainstream characters your books are worthless.

The comic market in terms of old issues is quite dead and has been for sometime.

Ebay may be a good way to get rid of them and get SOMETHING but you probably will be losing $$$ rather than making some.

The only books that are selling are current books (2002 to now) that have to do with current storylines.

Every year I donate over 300+ books to the local children's hospital and get a nice tax right off. It's also good to show the new generation about comics also.

That's very admirable of ya, bruh. Keep up the good work. Get a kid interested in reading/drawing and get a little kick-back in the process.

Sounds like something I should look into. I've got more than enough comics to give away.

#1 #2 #3 #4 #5 #6

#7 #8 #9

I think this was the last of the Frank Miller Sin City run. If you come across any that I missed, please post it.
Oh and can anybody post all of the Garth Enniss "The Boys" up to the current one(#14) I have "maybe" three non consecutive issues and would really like to read the series.

Yo Singular....not to sound ungrateful, but for a brotha that doesn't have a rapidshare account...is it anyway possible you can post the mutilple issues under one .rar file?

Thanks.

Damn i didn't know the game was doing bad.

I thought old ass comics would always sell.

You just saved me from getting started...

It's like all things you have to catch @ the right time. Like with current issues Nova back issues are hot. The moment they made a tradepaper back that value will decrease. You can get a glimpse of what's coming ahead in the comic market buy looking at a mag called Previews.

Comics as a whole is doing great. Back issues only have a value if the current storylines lead to them because right now it is a "Reader's Market" unlike a "Collector's Market."

Reader's that never heard about the Kree Skrull War would probably buy the old issues where it first happened because the current storylines are using them as a backstory.

Collector's Market is when ppl purchase the 1st, special and other editions of a book and store it for a peak price curve then sell it.

Part of the reason why most 1990's books had all those covers and hologram nonsense was for the collectors.

Now the market is more about content.

If you are going to collect for the $$$ it's tough and requires alot of forethought.

If you are collecting for the story...nevermind all that and explain the story to a kid and help them shutdown that TV set :)

Damn,

I just remembered a fucked and funny ass story.

When I was younger I use to sell comics on the streets of Fordham Road in The Bronx.

Anyway, during the time when "Death of Superman" came out...ppl was going fucking bananas. I had barely made it with my cart to my corner and was setting up when ppl was on me asking me how much.

I was like cover price. Now some ppl thought I was stupid...right...ok well.

There was this dude named Adam selling it was $20 bucks, then $50 bucks...then I heard @ one point he was selling them for $75...

Well one of his workers and I went to the same high school.

For like an entire week I never saw Adam open up his store...then I saw this cat on the train...DAMAGED.

Turns out when DC released their 2nd print the price fell off and ppl was trying to cash the 1st print in....2 dudes fucked up his store and beat him and his crew down and took all of his Fleer and Upperdeck cards unopened...Shortly after I left the violent world of comic book vending LOL

The book came in a black
