City of South Fulton, GA (two years old, 100,000 residents, 90% Black) completely FALLING APART due to infighting for control (worse than FBA vs ADOS)

Lets use the example of @clitsational. If a repub candidate is telling me that he'd cut that ridiculous 1k fine for not cutting his grass every seven days he would have my attention.

Why should I give a shit about their voting base?

Who you vote for ISN'T YOUR IDENTITY.
Boom. Issues. It's that simple.

If you ain't vote for an issue that benefits you , based on if it's coming from "a racist"-- if you can be convinced to vote AGAINST your own interests because of that-- then you're just a Black redneck

@Camille is full of shit lol and one of the biggest deflectors

the same person that openly campaigned to make that racist spammer @MASTERBAKER a MOD, was told he was racist, and still supported it.

Also, no surprise the immigrants and sellouts like @Drayonis and @Big Tex and @mangobob79 have avoided this thread.

the intellect and mentality of our community has to improve

There you go "@ing" me again. Like clockwork. Your need for attention is very telling.

Minus Whale put me on ignore too.

Bitch queer ass nigga I @ed you too, just admit you and ya butt buddy @mangobob79 are deflecting and scared to come answer these questions and face the truth, as a matter of fact stay quiet pussy.

Cause we know yo pussy ass don't want no smoke, so vocal in every other thread now you quiet and missing in action crying about putting peeps on ignore cause you have no answers.

speak up or forever stay quiet pussy

I disagree.

The republicans dont want our votes.

They know how we perceive them. They know why we perceive them that way.

Over the past 50 years they could have made some kind of effort to reach out, to talk, to discuss things. With us but also with their current base. Even if it was just pandering to a degree to get our votes.

They havent done a thing. Thats the choice they made.

Because they just dont want our vote.

Thats not emotion talking, those are the facts.

Its hard to vote for a party that doesn't want your vote.
You're still.hung up on a party name instead of an issue. Your issue is " they don't want our votes". Who gives a shit? You're basing your life off what someone else wants, and not what YOU want.

I told this story before, but when I lived in Macon, I lived on the north side (8th district), which wasn't exactly "the hood". Anyway, we encountered an issue that we needed help with and we reached out to Austin Scott, who's the rep for that district. Less than 24 hours later, his personal aide called and asked my wife to explain in detail what the problem was. A few days after that, the problem was fixed, and then he called personally on some "Is there anything else I can help you with?" type shit. Now, to be fair, maybe he thought we were white, because of the neighborhood we lived in, I don't give a fuck, dude did what he was elected to do...his fucking job! When we moved back to my beloved ATL, we had to go back to Macon to vote, because of the timing of our move, and you can bet your ass I voted for that "Republican cac". He's the only Republican I've ever voted for. Again, fuck yo' skin color, whatchu gon' do for me and mine?

Its really this simple. But let BGOL and the media tell it, every time you step into the voting booth your fighting against the forces of evil in a epic moral battle, and choosing wrong will leave you on "the wrong side of history". Your issues and concerns don't matter.

Austin Scott is a racist and you a Tom. Why don't you tell bgol that your "issue" was , you didn't want Black neighbors , so he burned a cross in your neighbors yard? Tellmedat!

Can I get a amen?

And CNN, MSNBC, Roland Martin, Shaun King, get paid money and immense joy to promote this. Don't get me wrong, some of them probably really believe what they're saying. They may have that worldview. Just as some whites, some Asians, some Hispanics , may choose certain ways they think will solve a problem, or certain ways, they think things should be run. If that's the case, fine. We can disagree.

But if a white person disagrees with another white person, and they run to get support for their ideology from Black people, and all they got to support their idea is "that guys racist and I'm not", that has to stop being such an easy trigger. And that's currently what's happening. Rednecks get manipulated like this too. Fine, if we know that, lets use that ignorance AGAINST them , not be just as dumb.

It's like a white guy running for POTUS that believes in, and will fight tooth and nail for reparations for us, but we'll cancel him because he did blackface for a Michael Jackson skit 30 years ago. Once he's "cancelled", we'll throw our support behind a "We just can't cut checks, we'll have to research other ways to do it." candidate, or go to social media and await our turn to bang the "No tangibles, no vote!" drum.

Two words. Lyndon Johnson.

No.

The fact that they dont want our votes directly translates to they dont address our issues, or they simply take the opposite side of our POV just for kicks.

For example, would it kill them to just hear us out on police relations issues?

Nope.

So why dont they? Its because thats against their culture, and they dont go off code for anyone.

Im not against any of their policy ideas strictly on the basis that they come from a republican. And on a local level the party affiliation is alot less emphasized. So Im open to that too.

The question is at what point does voting on issues become voting for a culture? The GOP is a culture, and being against us is part of that culture.

Where? You do realize the cities with police issues are run by Democrats right? What's rhat gotta do with Republicans? Who do you want to "hear you out?"

Baltimore has a Black chief of police, black rank and file in the city, and a Black democratic mayor.

Chicago similiar. Wtf are you talking about ?

And again police issues are very low on the totem pole for Black people. But you wouldn't know that watching CNN. The fact that that's the issue you jump to tells me a lot.

They need to be voted out. Police unions have a lot of power tho. Campaign zero was working on targeting this at one point, but I don't know how active they still are.

IL is making some changes.

Again.... What this gotta do with white people hearing anyone out ? Or racist Republicans? Oh that's right, you just jump on things not knowing what the actual convo is about.

Atatiana Jefferson rings a bell?

You wanna give me a rundown of the elected officials in Texas?

No I didnt think so.

Sigh. First if all, I listed cities.
Texas is a state. AND the cop is up for murder charges in ft worth. Yes the mayor is republican.

But the bigger part is that this.issue is all you can even focus on. And your version of a political discussion is how many Black people shot by police can you string along.

damn, somebody actually bringing logic to a political discussion on BGOL?

did 2020 cause an enlightenment movement?

That's what I been saying. Democrat-ran cities have been allowing police to run amok for decades. Black democrat-ran cities too. Why won't they listen to the black voters? Can't for nothing figure out why these politicians keep long stroking the black citizens.

Wait. You were talking about democrats on the local level, right?

Show me where i said it only happens in red states.

Ill wait.

I can show numerous democrat politicians who openly have "police relations" conversations with peeps. Im not even talking about having perfect policies. Im talking about having the balls to have the conversation.

Can ya'll do the same with republicans?

Thats just ONE example i gave to illustrate my point of republicans not being open to conversations.

You have yet to disprove my point, despite all that barking you doing.

On behalf of Atatiana Jefferson, go fuck yourself.

Im not sure what about the voting process is so hard for some of you guys to understand.

There are no guarantees, but that part is understood by everyone. Im not sure why this needs to be repeated on a board supposedly full of adults.

There is homework to do. Vet the candidates. Or become a candidate yourself. Consider your personal, the family, the community... Best candidate might be black and might not be either.

Things might go wrong. You might vote for the wrong people. Maybe the people you voted for just werent effective at their jobs and failed to deliver. But guess what, theres always another chance to remove the ones who shouldnt be there and replace them with those who can get the job done.

At the end of the day if you didnt vote and didnt present yourself as a candidate, YOU CANT COMPLAIN ABOUT SHIT.

Nigga got more excuses than a bitch trying not to give up the pussy to a rich simp :smh:

Fuck are you even talking about? We have had democrat mayors and city council for decades here and CPD are known as the worst fucking offenders. Same goes for democrat-run cities nation fucking wide unless they mostly cac.

'Police relation' conversations? Get the complete fuck out of here. Only conversation when the city is controlled by democrats starts with :hmm: "Here's what you guys are going to do!"

What conversation they having in Baltimore where the murder rate is that of a 3rd world country and the pigs have time to conduct prostitution stings and gloat about it on facebook.

Nope.

You're not making any sense. You didn't even make.a point and it was still disproved.

And you shouldnt use people's names who you don't know , especially people who suffered tragedies, to guard your incoherent rants from being picked apart.

Still yapping and cant disprove shit.

You the one who said republicans have no need to address police brutality because it doesnt happen on their turf.

Show me republicans being open to working with the black community on ANYTHING.

I can say voting for our own and being policed by our own has been VERY beneficial for us in South Florida. Doesnt mean its gonna work everywhere. Here its working.

If you voted for the wrong peeps in Cleveland then vote them out. Theres no guarantee but its THAT simple.

My advice to you is vote for cacs. Or dont vote. That way it will be easy for you to get over the possible disappointment at hand.

Oh and I have the perfect solution for Baltimore. Stop and frisk every black person walking down the street. Republicans love it.

Bruh are you serious?

Prison reform. The First Step Act.

That’s why Bloomberg is pulling a reverse trump, going from republican to democrat to run for president.

The cop on the republican district is being charged with murder. Can you not read?

And really, I'm sure that ain't got shit with Democrat or republican , that's just that case. But you're asking me to prove something about Republicans , that you can't even prove about Democrats.

I'll just shoot another one at ya -- prison reform is being carried out NOW, and not during the time when we had a Black Democrate.

Now let's see if you can even imagine an idea relevant to Black people that don't involve the police.

Bruh are you serious?

Prison reform. The First Step Act.

I didn't even see your response and I included that.
@AllUniverse17 is clearly indoctrinated by the MSNBC talking heads of the world.

he isn’t even making sense at this point but the fact he continues to double down on the ignorance is pure comedy.

I'm looking at his responses like "wtf?"

It's literally what we're talking about. We mentioned issues, and someone have a solid example-- he comes in SCREAMING about which white person is gonna put him back in chains. That's the ONLY way he can imagine anything

That’s mainly the fear I sense in the immigrants because they act as if their ancestors haven’t been through worse shit than what is going on now but ours persevered.

that shit will never happen again and if he truly believes it he is a coward for not getting out front and kicking the war off.
