Chris Jericho and Hurricane Helms arrested for public intoxication

WWE wrestler Chris Jericho was arrested early Wednesday morning for public intoxication, TMZ.com reports.

According to the report, cops noticed that the 39-year-old athlete, along with fellow wrestler Greg (Hurricane) Helms, were both "extremely intoxicated" at a gas station in Kentucky.

The two men were taken into custody in Kenton County around 5 a.m. and were charged with "alcohol intoxication in a public place." They were reportedly in town Tuesday night taking part in WWE Smackdown at the U.S. Bank Arena.

In the mug shots obtained by TMZ, Jericho and Helms display smug smirks for the camera. They were reportedly each released on a $120 bond.

It's starting to look like Helms was the drunk one and Jericho was caught in the middle.
The funny part is that Matt Hardy was there but ran off before the police got there. Clever boy.

The woman involved has made a statement saying she's not going to press charges and she got hit by accident as Jericho and Helms were "playfighting". She says Matt Hardy was completely sober.
