An Asian man has been filmed dipping a live baby mouse into a bowl of sauce before eating it.
The disgusting footage showed the man picking up a baby mouse with chopsticks before calmly devouring the squeaking rodent that was still moving.
The revolting meal, which was accompanied by a plate of tomatoes, is reportedly considered a delicacy in the Guangdong province of southeast China.
The government banned the dish, but it can still be found in backstreet restaurants.

Everything is normal if that's how you were raised, while it might be revolting to us, it's the norm to that region. Issues happens when we try to place our norms on other people and cultures. Some cultures view eating a cow or pig as being disgusting or sacreligious. I eat goat, my kids think it's disgusting, all they've known is American culture from personal experience, my parents are from different countries in the Carribean.

No dude that shit is foul. Eating live rodents? That means you're eating live virus and bacteria. Shit like this gave us Sars and now Coronavirus. What does eating goat meat have to do with this totally socially irresponsible and repulsive behaviour? Unless you are saying you're eating live goats :scared:....

I have zero issue with what you say.

However, there can be levels to what is normal in societies. Food is just an example, but your thought process can also be applied to cultural and societal practices as well in which morality comes into play.

That means, just because it’s normal for some societies doesn’t make it acceptable. I don’t want to jump to extremes, but slavery was normal at one point in many societies.

people eat live octopus and other creatures. Would I do it? No, but to each their own. Some eat Balut, maggotts, and all types of other stuff. Cultures and social responsibility are as unique as humans.

What's one got to do with the other? Think about how the nonsense you just spouted could be applied to any ethnic group. How's your confidence in that statement now?
Yeah you're right about that. I got some sexy Chinese bitches for you.
Have at it player...

It's nauseating to watch but I'm not shocked by it at all. I went to a market in Korea back in the day and there was no limit to what they were buying and selling to eat, from live octopus and squid to shit that we consider to be rodents.

Ok. So this may explain cultural differences and norms on pure meat consumption choices.

..Now present your bullshit argument on the sheer lack of humanity, decency, safety and utter cruelty pertaining to eating LIVE mammals in public like a got dam savage.

The problem with eating live rats/mice is that historically they've been known to carry diseases and have certain insects that live on them while they are alive that carry diseases that have dam near whiped out civilizations. At the very least you have to cook that meat to kill those bacteria, germs and viruses that are carried by rodents and the shit that lives on them. What these muffugas is doing is irresponsible to humanity because we now live in a global society and they can just as easily go on a flight and be in another region of the world in less than 24 hours while still being in the incubation period of whatever the fuck it is they've been exposed to. Nasty bastards.

Savagery, humanity, safety and in some cases cruelty is very subjective, history has shown us many lessons that prove that. This is not a topic to get emotional about. Obviously our view points differ.

Some of the comments remind me of how folks in the u.s. feel quite differently bout food like chitterlings or carp...all depending on their peoples program..

Emotional? Why do you lazy niggas always jump to that copout when called on your terrible posts that yo cant muster a sound rebuttal on? There was nothing remotely emotional about anything i said. And if you dont find eating live small mammals in non-necessity situations cruel and uncivilized then our viewpoints dont just differ, they are vastly worlds apart.

Oh, and there is nothing "subjective" about safety concerns pertaining to human beings consuming raw and living animal flesh you fucking idiot. The human body wasnt equipped with the enzymes, bacteria or digestive system to process live mammal flesh and whatever parasites and diseases they may potentially carry. You niggas just be talking just to talk.

Not sure which part was lazy from your perspective, but cool! Human beings have been consuming raw living flesh for years, I showed you that in the belut example. If a man eating a rat gets you emotional, don't travel the world. I guarantee you worst things are eaten raw, the only difference is this one was recorded. Just from reading this current post, you come off very emotional.

Look at it from this perspective, China can afford a few hundred thousand deaths.

Don't Americans eat groundhog, squirrels? In Mandarin, squirrels is—— pine mouse, groundhog is—— Stir up soil mouse,Rhizomys (like a groundhog) is ——bamboo mouse,You see, they are all mouse! What about cobaya? them been called “Holland pig”, pork—— they were just for meat.

In the rural areas of China, the meat and fur of rodent could help farmers get rid of poverty then become rich and supplement protein to us, Cantonese said: "eating one rat is better than ten chickens." Yummmm~~~~~~

Stolen..
