Road Rage, you are not being realistic. Lol.... You are somehow putting the entire responsibility on the woman. Typical of you, but, unfortunately, that's not how it works in foreign countries. The man is equally responsible for the child and he is well aware of the consequences of having unprotected sex.
For example, a young man gets a young woman pregnant. The young man is definitely not ready to be a father and the young woman is also not ready to be a mother. So, according to you, this is the woman's fault. Lol.
Society dictates the acceptable family unit structure expectations. So, most foreign countries are still pretty traditional for the most part. Which means they still believe and encourage marriage first before children. It doesn't always work out that way, but, these are the values instilled for the most part. Young men are taught by their parents that getting a woman pregnant automatically means marriage, because, it is not acceptable to have children out of wedlock. Young women are taught that getting pregnant means marriage, so, the woman feels a little pressure before she gives it up to whoever. So, this responsibility of having sex automatically becomes both the man and the woman equally.
The alternative options are extremely limited, because, there are not many government programs that will help out single mothers and some families would actually disown their child out of shame for having a child out of wedlock. So, the only other option would be to abort the child and this costs money and discretion.
The reason why those societies promote marriage before children is because they know that children need both parents fully engaged in the upbringing process. Financially, emotionally, physically........ It is necessary for the child to have the full input of both parents in order to have a decent chance at life.
Take responsibility for your actions.
