I think this thread can pretty much be summed up by saying that if you can't blame white folks for it then, it's not really valid. If you have any ties whatsoever to the school system then you know firsthand that what he's saying is dead ass true, especially with black males. Black women don't get that flack which is why they're outnumbering the hell out of us in college. Sad part is, we refuse to ever admit the real. Im not the biggest Chris Rock fan but he said some real shit when he said it's become so easy to blame the media and white folk that you'd think that we don't even have any issues.
