Good for the female audience.
Nah. Thats what will make her relatable to her core audience of young females. This shit aint for you... hopefully they don't spend most of the time w/ her @ the job...that's what will kill the series imo...might go decent w/ the teen crowd
Was that her boss? Didnt recognize her. Thought she looked familiar tho.And Ally McBeal looks like molded plastic...damn
And the military turned their noses up at her - even though she's their best option to combat extraterrestrial threats that are too much for them?she has super hearing but didn't hear a LOUD tv in a nearly silent bar say GENEVA?
This shit is dripping with wack juice.![]()
theyll probably use up all the obligatory Superman shout-outs in the pilot only..she may say something like"My cousin who lives in THAT city..he does things a whole lot better than me" etc![]()

cool seeing her use her powers...should've chosen someone a bit sexier for the role...she supposed to be this supreme woman and they choose this homely looking A-cup bitch...sorryhopefully they don't spend most of the time w/ her @ the job...that's what will kill the series imo...might go decent w/ the teen crowd
IF the trailer is any indication of what the whole show is gonna be like, to compare this to smallville is an insult. The show feels very cliche, contrived and forced as if it wants the audience or viewer to emote or express emotion on que when certan cliché situations come up.
With smallville it was more about the struggles that Clark Kent went thru to be normal and coming to terms with his powers, that was the appeal, lure and engagement factor of smallville. This supergirl trailer feels like watching a movie on the syfy channel, and we all know how bad all those movies are.
Yours Truly.....Professor
- no rights to Superman/Supergirl comics villains or characters
- no ability to drive the comic (nothing worthwhile can happen to main characters, just introduce new characters so you can kill them)
- no ability to modify/grow the supergirl character
- no Superman guest star
- no crossover from other DC properties on TV
- will run opposite Arrow/Flash/Agent's of Shield

yup.
Its fine for the audience its seeking and if they really keep the female empowerment angle it will get a very positive response. (look at the Ms. Marvel sales)
Probably will tone down the sex and violence too to keep it as close to family friendly as possible.
They better do a crossover to at least TRY to get that loyal comic boo audience
And Ally McBeal looks like molded plastic...damn
they need to be able to do different series with different tones and voices catering to different audiences.
good luck.
I will definitely give it a try. But, its not looking to good right now.Gesssshhhh!![]()
How original can they have a tv show without the lead actress working at a popular magazine or fashion company? I'm not going to even waste my time with the first episode. I imagine if this is a hit they will make Marvel Girl next![]()
