CBS LA: ‘Hidden Colors 3′ Is An Eye-Opening, Entertaining Film About Race

I can't wait to see HC3....The first two was great, but I liked the first one slightly better...Im going to marathon the documentaries when I get HC3...

Last week on his ustream show,he was asking the audience what the next subject should be for Hidden Colors 4...

What's going on between tariq and rosebudd? What did rosebudd say about hidden colors?

Tariq didn't want to touch on the topic on last night's ustream.

Damn OP good looking out in the video.

This is why I love BGOL. I can always count on this forum to get updated on shit that happens in my own backyard. I never watch local TV though lol

Wait so he's done talking about macking and all that shit now? I remember when he was hated on here more than that Montana chick

He's slowly inching away from it. That's how he built most of his current fan base so he can't abandon it entirely. He even got rid of the name Mack lessons radio show and renamed it tariq Elite.

I ordered all three....MADE THE FAMILY SIT DOWN AND WATCH IT....with pizza and a ass whippin if they left, including a few cousins....they were blown away at the information. I even had one of the young'ins come and get mad, saying they didn't say anything about any of that shit in high school (she 21)...now she salty, and wants to know more about what she doesn't know and has finally started reading the damn books I had in the personal library ...FINALLY!!! I have been trying to get these folks to open up their eyes and minds. gets its the messenger and not the message with me.

He's a smart brother and I wish him continued success but he got a little temper on him as well...he's kind of an angry guy, when I listen to his ustream he's quick to call a brother a Dayumm Nigga.....kind of shocking to hear that from a brother whose pimping black history for a paycheck.

:lol::lol::lol: cuz he's LITERALLY a pimp

Props to Tariq, I was always entertained by his books and podcasts but now his evolution into something positive and independent is commendable.

Chuck D said he had to have Flavor Flav or no one would pay any attention to the seriousness of Public Enemy. Tariq used the "mackin'" thing the same way.

The greatest way you can scare a man is to tell him "I'm the reason your kids eat!" Tariq created an economic base for himself independently; I can't find anything to hate on.

Am I the only one who has a problem with CAC's describing this as a "Entertaining Film About Race"

Entertaining rather than educational!

Not true man, from the way the journey seems he just took a risk and HC popped off, i remember when he tried that horror film The Eugenist, now if that would have popped off and HC didn't then what would we be saying, i don't think this was his plan, dropping history like this.

As for Chuck D and PE, you're correct, he needed an animated person to create balance.

I've been following his podcasts for years now. It's amazing how he morphed from a "game adviser" to a black historian/activist. Personally, I don't think he planned it that way,but more that he just grew and expanded his interests.Either way, Hidden Colors have been amazing films and he has had a knack in being able to get bruthas interested in the material.I was unable to get a ticket for the screening here in Oakland, but drove by and the sidewalk was packed.

I have no problem paying for it, I tried to see the premier but was sold out and the dvd is also sold out.The first two were posted so of course I thought it wouldn't be a problem for this also to be posted for the bgol fam to view. Thanks for the respond tho fam:cool:
