Cavs vs Warriors Part II - it's on

Funny how when LeBron said it a few years ago, with all the mis-steps and finals losing record, most people ain't say shit, YET, Curry says it, and Dudes have beef with it! What the hell should he say? Name players who are better than him!! FOH!!

FUCK finals MVP! Man Iguadala won that wit his bullshit ass numbers avg like 12pts and 4reb. That shit don't mean nothing. EVERYBODY knows and every commentator said that Bron was the best player by far in that series. He really should've won Finals MVP last year.

You can take Kawhi though, he a good player. He ain't no MVP caliber player but he should finally be an Allstar and maybe get 3 team all NBA this year
I didn't even name LeBron in my response though. So obviously you didn't read my response correctly.

A clutch rebound never won a game?

Really? Miami Heat in finals, game 6 against the Spurs. Chris Bosh pulls down one of the most important rebounds ever to kick out to Ray Allen for the 3 to tie and go into overtime where the Heat eventually won a ship because of it.
A rebound that led to a bucket. I rest my case

Kevin Durant, Paul George and Russell Westbrook has all played on great teams as well so what's your point?

Is Paul George on a great team now?? Is he doing work now?? Has Westbrook played without KD before?? Was he able to be stop contain or controlled?? What has Kwahi done without any help?? When has he ever been the man?? When has ever been the man for a consistent period of time?? Dude couldnt even score against the Rockets yesterday when it mattered; Dude has never carried a team before like any of the players that have been mentioned; Point is its easy to do work when you have help; When he does it with less talent then I think you can put him up there with other big timers...

Paul was on a great team before and didn't do nothing, Westbrook and Durant both made it to he finals and didn't win it. Kawhi showed up in the finals.

LeBron James stay crying over shit... I HATE him as a player.

U sound crazy lol...Do you even watch basketball?? I really dont know what you are trying to say but it sounds ridiculous; Teams win championships, teams; Kwahi has always been on a good team and has never been the man, never; Paul, Westbrook, Durant have carried teams by themselves; Kwahi never has period; Hes not even carrying his team now; please stop...

Durant and Westbrook should have won a championship by now.

You said Kawhi has always been on a good team, but so has Durant and Westbrook.

Yes never said they hadnt; but its no comparison in terms of talent and how either have played; plus again they have always been in the focal point, they have always been the centerpiece of their teams at one point or another; when has Kwahi been that??

Kawhi is the best defender on the Spurs team that's counts for something.

Inside the matchup: Warriors-Cavaliers
The Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers play Monday night for the second time since the Warriors’ win in last season's NBA Finals.

Golden State won the first matchup this season 89-83 on Christmas Day. The 89 points are a season low for the Warriors, and the 83-point outing is Cleveland’s second lowest of the season.

Here is a look inside that low-scoring game.

Guarding Curry

Stephen Curry was relatively quiet in the Dec. 25 game, scoring 19 points while taking fewer shots than both Klay Thompson andDraymond Green.

The Cavaliers double-teamed Curry on 20 plays that game. When Curry was doubled, the Warriors shot 5-of-14 and had as many turnovers (four) as assists. Green had only one assist opportunity on those plays, and Curry himself had just two assists when double-teamed.

Of Curry’s 15 shots, four came when receiving a pass directly from a teammate. Curry went 3-for-11 when creating his own offense and 3-for-4 when shooting off a pass.

Despite being second in the NBA in points per game in transition, Curry was limited to two shots in transition against Cleveland. His only points in transition came after drawing a foul.

Guarding LeBron

Slowing down LeBron James was a true team effort for the Warriors in December. No player was the primary defender on more than six of James’ 26 shots that game. Eight different Warriors players were the primary defender on a shot attempt.

Golden State did not allow James to find open looks. Of his 26 shots, 24 were contested. James made both of his uncontested shot attempts.

Cleveland’s woeful finishing

The Cavaliers shot 32 percent from the field against the Warriors, the third-worst field goal percentage by a LeBron James team in a game in which he played (he has played in 948 career games).

Cleveland struggled from inside and from beyond the arc.

They made 5-of-30 field goal attempts from behind the 3-point line, their worst in any game this season. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Lovewere a combined 0-for-11 from long range.

The Cavs were 16-of-40 in the restricted area (40 percent). The 24 misses in the restricted area are their most in a game this season.

Golden State gave up 19 uncontested field goal attempts on 95 total shots (20 percent).

Green’s defense, playmaking on full display

Green had seven assists against the Cavaliers in December, which is actually below his season average.

However, looking at shots made and missed, Green had a team-high 12 assist opportunities. Of those 12 assist opportunities, seven resulted in open looks. Green created more open looks than any player in the game.

Cleveland shot just 4-for-20 when guarded by Green. Love made 1 of 8 shots when Green was the primary defender.

Man I'm looking at the stats...is this a fucking shoot around, every time I check back in...I see the dubs shooting another 3pointer

Do u think it one of those things where the Cavs might sho a new scheme or something...just wondering I know football coaches does this at times
They just need to stick to the basics/fundamental. GS is just on fire right now. Nothing you can do about that. You just got to play your game and wait/HOPE GS comes back down to earth at some point. Still a ton of ball to be played.
