Can you transfer all your itunes music to an android device?

download the google music app and upload all the music there. (Which will take days) then you can access the music from any android device as well as your pc.

If you get a HTC device, you can use HTC Sync and just transfer music that way. You can even just transfer playlist if you want.

Thanks. Thinking of getting the samsung note to replace the Iphone4.

if your songs are on itunes, that means they are on your hard drive somewhere too,,, now connect your android phone to your pc with a usb port cord,,, just select folder your music is in (located in C or D drives),,, drag & drop your music to your phone (located in J drive) under the file named "Music",,, done

We are talking ANDROID, not some 90's phone that you store your music on your sd card

the steps before this is how to go about it, but you should certainly do the Google Music route, upload all your music, and bam, your set on the cloud. They now even let you re-download your shit, EVERY song you uploaded, so if you lose music or whatever, doesn't matter your music is saved forever on the cloud!!

I actually do it the way Gameboy suggests and it works fine. I have a 16gig SD card.

If you only have 2gb a month bandwidth it does matter.

find it on your harddrive and drag it...done. Easy to do, no need to upload and stream shit, especially with many of these phones having 32GB of memory

Fuck Google music...create your own music server with Subsonic. I have about 40 gigs of music and did not want to wait for Google music to upload everything. With subsonic there is a server app you install on your PC. You will also need to create a port to allow remote access. The best part is the app that's avail in either android market or in apples app store that will give access on any apple or android device. You can also get a customized website to access your music from another PC.

I went for this. Just hooked it up, got it working.
It wants you to donate after a certain time to keep using
its stream service, so I found a free license online.
Working fine. Thanks for the info.

Isn't this just audiogalaxy?? and I use google music. Due to the cloud capabilities and the fact you can download all of your google music content back on to a external drive I say give it a shot.

Not familiar with audio galaxy but it looks similar. Subsonic is opensource and it doesnt appear that Audiogalaxy is.

Google music is fine but I refuse to wait to upload 40 gigs of music.

who wants to leave their computer on all the time to stream their stuff? The cloud option is a million times better, always online, no computer fuss on the other end, you can download your tunes ANYTIME and have them auto converted to 320kps from Google Music. Plus you don't have to tie in your internet for this option. I mean if it works for you, great, just don't see why anyone would think that is a better option then cloud access.

What about bootlegged music..would they be able to tell, thats my only concern about cloud services.

I thought u were true blue iPhone man jagu?
I like iphone for its build quality, ease of use , and fluid interface. But it's starting to get like Mercedes Benz, old and non innovative. I now need a bigger screen and faster lte data but im not willing to wait for iphone to get their act together.

I have the bionic and I can use the drag and drop method. Are you trying to store your music so you can access it from anywhere?

I may keep the 4 and just use it as an ipod for my car because the car's music system is built for apple products. If i decide to sell it i'll let you know.

The samsung note and skyrocket hd come out in 3 weeks , so it's going to be one of them.

Yup..nothing easier than drag and drop. in fact I stopped fucking wit itunes years ago because it fucked up the way I had my music sorted on my pc.

I'm finally about to upgrade from the Evo to the samsung note. I finally found a phone that makes me happy to switch. Just got my case for it today and it's on sale for 9.95. I been checking this phone out for months.

Try using audio galaxy its an app in the market place that allows you to stream your music to any android device using the iTunes library. It works with the home network. I tried to use google music but it takes up a lot of bandwidth and takes a long time to upload.
