Caitlin Clark Turns Heads With Pregame Outfit On Thursday
After suffering a narrow defeat to the Atlanta Dream earlier this week, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are back in action against the Dream tonight and hope to get back above .500.
It's a rematch of a stunning game that saw the Dream win 91-90 and secure an upset over Clark's Fever. Blame has been thrown around for the Fever's loss all week, but the time for redemption is now.
Ahead of the game, Clark showed up to the arena ready to take on all foes and wore a stunning outfit to show it. She wore a red polo shirt with the bottom half brought up underneath a tan trench coat. On the lower half she wore a tan skirt and a pair of tan heeled shoes.
While a few fans joked that the outfit made Clark look like Inspector Gadget, most people agreed that she looked "locked in."
"Ladies are coming in hawt," one user declared.
"Sophie called CC 'Inspector Gadget,'" joked another.
"Caitlin Clark showed up looking like she’s about to deny your flood claim," a third joked.
"Caitlin is always so classy. Go Fever!!"
"Okay Clark got that standing on business fit."
Fever head coach Stephanie White attributed the team's loss to Atlanta to a lack of physicality against players as big and strong as Brittney Griner.
"We didn't handle their physicality. That's going to be the M.O. against us all year long," White said, via
ESPN. "Teams are going to be physical. That's how I'd play us.
"They're going to push us, they're going to shove us, they're going to hold us. They're going to do whatever they're allowed to get away with, and we have to figure out how to use that physicality against them."
Many fans believe that White simply mishandled the moment, keeping the ball out of her best players' hands in the waning moments of the game.
White and Clark will both have their chance to turn things around in a few hours.
Can the Fever get back above .500? Or are they simply not equipped to take down Griner and the Dream?
