Adding turnovers to that list would be one more category making it a total of 11 categories. It's not the end all be all that you're making it.
Yes she turns the ball over, we know that. She's also a ball dominant point guard where the offense goes through her so it's expected. With that said, she still turns the ball over a lot
And last night the woman had 19 assists and you're focused on one turnover where I think 3 defenders converged on her.

She should’ve waited for the rest of her team, stop making excuses for her. Nobody said nothing when they triple teamed Angel so she couldn’t get a double double to extend her record. She is a rookie, so her turnovers will improve with experience but man she has been playing lights out

Three defenders converged on Caitlin and stole the ball. And three or four defenders converged on Angel to make sure that she didn't get two more points.
Those aren't excuses, that's what happened.
And yes somebody did say something when Angel was damn near quadruple teamed so that she didn't score.

The Wings put on a 3-pointer show against the Fever and caused a lot of turnovers. Caitlin was contained on her perimeter shooting and had to dish it elsewhere to Boston and others. Her game was taken from her last night by Odyssey Sims who mainly guarded her, and she had a high-scoring night of her career at 24.
I honestly like Clark, and I know she, Angel Reese, and the '24 draft class do a lot for the WNBA, but Clark was well-contained.

If a 4 and 19 team causes a 10 and 13 team to take you out of your normal game, and you have to dish... Clark knew she did better to pass/ assist instead of shooting. She even said that during post-game. She wasn't going for the assist record, she was trying to give her squad the best chance to win.

So if Angel wins a championship before her, more than Clark, say Clark never wins one but Angel does, what’s the narrative then?
I wouldn't say that Caitlin was "Well contained", she just didn't shoot well although she did shoot over 50% for the game. She was 10-19 and 2-9 on 3's. The majority of her misses were 3's.
That's not well contained, she just missed shots. She had 6 turnovers but 19 assist. She wasn't getting locked down, she was the facilitator and got the job done.
Simms was 10-17, Arike was 8-21 and Howard 5-16.
Yes the Wings have unfortunately had a lot of injuries. Hopefully after this break you guys get fully healthy and can really start playing Wings basketball again!

This isn't a media motivated thread when we speak about Caitlin or WNBA basketball.
It's just us, our thoughts and how we feel and think about the players and teams. We don't care what the media, social media thinks and cares and we definitely don't care or pay attention to narratives.
So if Angel wins a championship before Caitlin, then that means that Angel had a better team. And if Caitlin wins one before Angel, it means that Caitlin had the better team.
We're not pitting them against each other because the people in this thread like them both.

This makes no sense, she is playing Saturday in the AllStar game. WNBA getting the attention they've been begging for, first the league doing dumb shit with scheduling and having to search for games now the players doing dumb shit, no way Sabrina Ionescu, Kelsey Plum and Caitlin Clark shouldn't be in the 3point contest, Aja Wilson should also be in one of those skills challenges. Clark is a much better player and that will not change unless Reese shows otherwise.
