I was hoping to get some advice about structuring my business. I do a lot of things but right now my focus is bringing inventions to the open market. I was thinking I need to set up an EIN and did not know how to answer the question about my business structure.
Here is what I was thinking and your feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Company A (The holding company)
Business 1: The entity I will run my invention business through
Business 2: The entity I will run my book business through
***The Businesses will be under the holding company, Company A***
With that said let me directly state my questions.
Q1. Is this set up feasible or am I doing too much?
Q2. If Q1 is feasible,what is the best route to go (Scorp,Ccorp, LLC,)?
Q3. If Q1 is not feasible what would be your advice for the business structure from previous experience?
