BUMBLEBEE MOVIE

Bro! Chill....... I live in NYC and dont have a garage or a job or a car.

my bad...go into the garage and listen to some music in the car...that should cheer you up...turn on the heat if it’s too cold

Bumblebee was damn good for the first 15 and last 20 minutes.

Co-sign!!

i think i was the only one in my theater who got that joke.

A couple of people sounded like they got the reference by the chuckles I heard, but no one could mess with me singing it. "You got the touch! You got the powerrrrrrrrrrrrr! YEAH!"

For the life of me, I do not understand why hollywood must put eyelids on fucking robots. Shit kinda started going downhill for me the moment when Charlie placed her hands on Bumblebee and he closed his eyes like was having a slight oil-gasm.

NOW!!! I was hyped as hell when I saw the Shockwave, Soundwave & Ravage, CliffJumper and the G1 airplane mode for Starscream. I believe the sequel will finally be the movie us Transformers fans have been waiting for.

I like the certified kills Bumblebee got in this...and how he got them.

Felt sorry for my man trying to get with the chick...he nearly gets killed and all she gives him is a peck on a cheek...FOH...

John Cena's character had a bit of "campy" feel to him..."There's a door.."..lol

Overall I thought it was a good movie and Bumblebee was a badass...especially on Cybertron...I feel like they made him too much of a punk in the other movies..

I was in a packed ass Theater on the Paramount lot (It's a Paramount movie) for a screening. When that scene played, I was literally the only person that laughed out loud as shit :smh:

My theater wasn't packed, but the people who were there definitely got the reference!

When they were talking about giving them access to the satellites, I love how Cena's character was like "they call themselves Decepticons; this is a bad idea!" LOL!!

Speaking of being a badass, I also loved how he really went off once all of his memories were restored! Once those eyes turned red, it was a wrap!

I'm going to download it tonight

i agree with everyone else here
this was the best transformers movie to date and the opening was phenonamal

it was great to see transformers action that was clear and easy to follow
with that said it would close to impossible to finance an all cgi movie of nothing but transformers

for what its worth as an 80s baby i enjoyed all the pop culture references, music and vibe of this this joint

I beg to differ, Bay's films were still about the hard action, that's why I liked all of them save the Last Knight. This was just okay, I liked the nostalgia and the music soundtrack was good. It was just too cutesy-cute for me, definitely small child friendly and girl friendly too. Two and a half stars here (** 1/2).

This is what a transformer movie should have been. You could finally easily follow the fight scenes and the transformers looked liked the actual cartoons

I have no idea why these idiots feel that Bumblebee should not be able to talk. Why is that sticking to 2 different versions of this franchise!
Fucking morons. Angela Basset was good in the movie and that was about it.

Bumblebee was damn good for the first 15 and last 20 minutes.

the middle was E.T. lite.

but it was still better than ANY of those Michael Bay films.
lol naw it wasnt that bad.i loved this movie

All that technology, they fix Bumblebee's voice box yet?
his voice was fixed in the first part of the movie till starscream messed it up.but he was talking normal and everything.

Paramount

EXCLUSIVE: Paramount’s Bumblebee is buzzing past the $400M mark worldwide today. The Transformers origins story has revved up $401.3M global, including $113.9M domestic and $287.4M at the international box office through Saturday. Japan, which has been a solid play for the franchise, is the last market to bow, on March 22, meaning there’s further fuel in the VW Bug’s tank.

Helmed by Travis Knight, the well-received picture reboots the Transformers series with humor and an emotional connection that’s been fed by great word of mouth. There’s a sequel in development (might that mean a Bumblebee/Optimus Prime buddy movie?). Before that, there’s an animated movie in the works and future iterations of the overall Transformers series that may introduce new characters and bring others along.

With Bumblebee, producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura says, “We had many objectives (including) to bring a new set of families into the series, and that succeeded; in the after markets that will continue to succeed in a big way. Part of our obligation was to bring people back who had left the franchise or never experienced it which worked well… We are finding our way. Our intention was we wanted to please the core fans but also bring a new audience.”

Rounding out the Top 5 behind China through Saturday are the UK ($14.1M), Korea ($12M), Mexico ($11.3M) and Indonesia ($11M). Bumblebee was made for a wider demo than the rest of the franchise, on a lower budget (est $135M) than its stablemates and will be profitable.

The last two films in the franchise did best in China, although last year’s Last Knightwas notably down on the previous pic, Age Of Extinction. Bumblebee, on January 4, swept into the Middle Kingdom this year and has grossed $130M through today. Although there were eight new films releasing this weekend, the Bug is holding No. 1. With Chinese New Year not kicking off until February 5, that potentially puts the Autobot in the realm of Transformers: Dark Of The Moon which finished at $165M in unadjusted figures in 2011 (and when revenue splits for the studios were lower). Bumblebee also has an extension to play through Chinese New Year, a 7.2 Douban score and Tencent Pictures as an investor and co-marketing partner in China.

Domestically, the Hailee Steinfeld-starrer is expected to final close to last year’s The Last Knight which did $130.1M. There, it has an A- CinemaScore and 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. Around the time of release during the Christmas frame, RelishMix noted superfans agreed Bumblebee “is the Transformers movie they’ve been waiting and yearning for, which means a more authentic look at some of their favorite characters and dosing down of the super-action in previous, Michael Bay-directed chapters.”

Just got through watching it. The movie was actually pretty good. And like someone else said, the fight scenes were easy to follow.

The thing I love the most was that the transformers actually looked like the original transformers. Hopefully there is a part 2 in where they introduce Megatron and Devastator.

I actually like this film.
And I've said on here at previous times that TRANSFORMERS has never been my thing.
Except "BEAST WARS".
And I've seen all the films because of their IMAX releases.

"BUMBLEBEE" was the best of the franchise since "DARK OF THE MOON". in my opinion.
Kept the 80s cliches intact.
And that Hailee Steinfeld has gotten grown since "TRUE GRIT".

I feel like they need to put that in the beginning of the trailer...

As for the trailer...

Things that got right...

1. Bumblebee looks like fucking Bumblebee
2. Starscream... Finally looks like fucking Starscream..
3. Setting this in the 80s is perfect..

Things they got wrong..
1. The timeline of the Transformers Universe is all over the fucking map.
2. This makes the Unique bond set between Sam and Bumblebee in Transformers 1... Look stupid.
3. Why does this remind me of The Shape of Water with Robots.
4. If the government was aware of Bumblebee in the 80s... Why the fuck did they seem so surprised to find Megatron and the other Transformers in Transformers 1?

Finally saw this...

Wow completely unexpected greatness

Taking in consideration the trash we had to repeatedly endure
