BUMBLEBEE MOVIE

Joss isnt involved with the Batgirl movie anymore..said that he"couldnt come up with a story"
If Joss isn't involved anymore then they minus whale scrapped that whole project right now. Joss being on writing and directing duties was the only good thing that movie had going.
Also I see that the database error era is back in full swing. C'mon HNIC, no one was feeling nostalgic for database errors.

Finally got Bumblebee and Starscream looking right after 5 damn movies. I stopped at 2. Every damn Decepticon was silver in that movie. No idea who was who.

I don't expect much at all. I didn't pay for the last one, and I won't pay for this one. I promised myself that they won't ever hustle me again having me see some bullshit.

They started adding color where it was easier, but the action was still too fast paced.

The first two pissed me the fuck off though.

I have seen all of the transformers movie. I will not see this.
wow

The female heroine movement continues....

It was really cool to hear Bernie's voice in this trailer....but I still dunno about this one. Maybe it does well with the kids?

Yo, was that Starscream chasing him?
this is only the first trailer .i bet this will make alot of money watch.

Imma pass and agree with ur comment. Best part of the trailer for me was them playing my jams from back in the day IDC what yall say that was my jams

love that song

A huge we'll see, looks too cutesy-cute, I still enjoyed the previous flicks save The Last Knight but a reboot is good.

Is this a Rom Com?
Is she falling in love with the Robot?
What would that make her? An Andrsexual?

BumbleBee better quit fucking around. She's going to come out in a few years from now saying that he was making unwanted advances during the filming of this movie #BeeToo....:hmm:

reminds me of that shape of water film lol

Came here after watching the trailer during the finals. Transformers is my favorite cartoon series & it seems like this movie has the more cartoon 80 feels.

Also I know everyone is saying that's starscream but what if that's Jetfire??... I can only hope lol

Yall must aint heard the news...

Hasbro bought the rights to Power Rangers. And THEY are now doing a shared universe that includes the Power Rangers, MASK, and some others. This might not be 100% MB, but I think since the Transformers is so recent, they want to make this a jumping point for the HTCU...

Wait, wait, wait, a shared universe...no fuck no , noooo...smh

When did the fascination with Bumblebee start??? No one even acknowledged his existence when the G1 cartoon was out. Now this fucker gets a stand alone movie??? Pass, extra hard because its fuckin Bumblebee... I know they wont ever have a Decepticon headline a movie, but a Megs/Galvatron, Starscream, Soundwave Id be all about. But Bumblebee???:roflmao:

mortal engines is gonna bomb like sucker punch. and i liked sucker punch. i think it is a very misunderstood and under rated movie.
Peter Jackson is behind this one ... have you seen the trailer it’s fucking Mortorized cities battling against each other. The book series is actually one of my favorites. I’d be shocked if this bombs... plus it drops the week before transformers and it’s only competition is the animated Spider-Man flick.

Also you greatly underestimate the impact of Mary poppins. Why do you think it’s the only fucking movie dropping on the 25th? DC could have moved Aquaman back to the bigger weekend and even they knew not to Fuck with Poppins. It would be different if this was a reboot but this technically supposed to be a sequel. It’s one of the longest gaps between sequels in history. You will probably have 4 generations of people in that movie. Bumblebee has only 2 weekends to makes its money... And Aquaman, Spider-Man, Mortal Engines, and Alita are going to take massive chunks from
It’s intended audience.

I haven't seen a steam punk movie do well in the United States. :dunno:

And I don't know anyone that cares about Mary Poppins. I think it's gonna bomb too.

Wasn’t impressed while watching it until I saw Starscream transform from a F-15 Eagle with his original paint job.

If they got Thundercracker and SkyWarp with him, that will be nice.

My kids are interested in seeing it. I’m still up in the air with this.

Bumblebee Trailer: Optimus Prime Has a Mission For Bee

Paramount has released the full-length trailer for its Transformers spinoff/prequel, Bumblebee. The sixth live-action Transformers movie overall, Bumblebee has the unique quality of not being directed by Michael Bay, unlike the five entries before it. To be fair, the filmmaker clearly has his fans, as evidenced by the $4.4 billion that the franchise grossed under his watch. All the same, the noticeable drop-off in box office returns for last year's Transformers: The Last Knight suggests that even Bay's most ardent supporters have begun to tire of his emphasis on loud spectacle over cohesive storytelling.

Fortunately, for the Transformers brand, change is now on the way in the form of Bumblebee. In addition to being a comparatively lower-budgeted Transformers film that focuses on the heroic Bumblebee, the movie was directed by two time Oscar-nominated Laika veteran Travis Knight of Kubo and the Two Strings fame. Knight is obviously a very different storyteller than Bay and the Bumblebee footage unveiled so far suggests that his own Transformers film will be all the closer to his inventive and heartfelt stop-motion animated efforts for it.

Bumblebee winds the clock back to 1987 and follows Bee as he undertakes a secret mission to earth on Optimus Prime's orders - with a trio of Decepticons (including, the flight-capable Blitzwing, aka. not Starscream) and the U.S. military hot on his tail. Along the way, Bee crosses paths with Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), a teenaged auto mechanic who befriends the typically non-verbal Autobot and winds up helping him on his adventure. For more on that, watch the official Bumblebeetrailer in the space below.

Whereas the Bumblebee teaser trailer focused on Charlie's first encounter with Bee, the official trailer dives deeper into the actual plot of the film. Much of the new footage featured here was previously shown at the Bumblebee San Diego Comic-Con panel back in July, including the clip of Bee projecting a holographic recording of Optimus Prime. That also goes for the shots of Bee (with Charlie occasionally in tow) being chased by the movie's Decepticons and John Cena as Agent Burns - a character who joins forces with the film's villains, after being misled to believe that Bee is an escaped criminal from Cybertron.

Speaking of which - while there are glimpses of Cybertron in this new trailer, the vast majority of Bumblebee is set on earth and not the Transformers' home world. Even so, Knight has already succeeded in paying his respects to the franchise's larger mythology by returning characters like Optimus Prime and Bee to their G1 designs here. Similarly, The Iron Giant-esque coming of age storyline written by Christina Hodson (who's also working on DC's Birds of Prey) brings the live-action Transformers movies back to their roots in Spielbergian sci-fi/fantasy. The actual Bumblebee footage is likewise more visually coherent and emotionally involving than anything we've seen from the Transformers series in awhile.

All in all, it continues to look like Bumblebee will offer a refreshing change of pace from Bay's approach to the Transformers franchise. Here's hoping that proves to be the case with the film itself.
