"Bumblebee" will fare the exact same way.
Once again, the studio gives us a movie NO ONE wanted or asked for...
this was a pretty terrible movie. i mean it was okay. but i didn't give a shit about any of the characters.
the only thing i cared about was the kessel run. and i wasn't really even dying to know how it happened.
this movie was extra meh.
They're basically saying this is a reboot.
I haven't seen "Solo", nor am I particularly interested in it.
This film came about amidst a very ugly chapter in the Disney/Star Wars franchise.
The Last Jedi and Battlefront 2 have all but killed any good will between the fans and the studio.
Now; they throw in "Solo", (a film no one asked for) and continue to spit in the eyes of fans by throwing around SJW themes, they make the MOST PROMINENT BLACK MAN IN THE GALAXY "pansexual" and by introducing a self made, socially conscious android (L3-37) who cries about "Droid Rights".
If "Bumblebee" follows any of these troupes, then not only will it fail, but it'll fail miserably...
Pass.

I will not be seeing this movie, after those Wahlberg movies fuck'em. Good that they went back to his original look and same goes for Starscream. Michael Bay still has his hand on this movie and that's good enough of a reason for me to not watch it. Movie from the trailer seems like their remaking the first Transformers movie with Sam to me. They still have Bumblebee not talking just making those fucking beep sounds. Also they're going to move this movie release date up or back because too much is coming out in December for it to make money.

They need to make a starscream movie

Because of budget issues, they should just remake a adult themed transformers cartoon, like what DC has been doing with their animated movies. Dc makes shitty movies but they kill Marvel in animated movies.
So this is a prequel set in the 80s. Which will make this entry # I_done_fucking_lost_count in this franchise which will shit on the narrative on the first Bay movie which said that Transformers only recently started coming to Earth.
And this asshole still isn't going to use his voice. I'm glad they finally got the look down (after 5 or 6 movies) but no thank you. This franchise barely qualifies for BGOL cinema anymore.
I stopped watching and then instantly deleted the last movie after it opened up with drunk Merlin played by probably really drunk on the set Stanley Tucci.

the last movie was the absolute worst one that they made. and that is saying alot. it is one of the worst movies that i have ever seen.

I feel like the DCEU has already been quietly scrapped. They were already in too deep into production to straight shelf Aquaman. And Wonder Woman 2 is probably still a go. But I haven't really heard shit about Flash or Cyborg. Affleck is openly trying to get out of doing anymore of these movies. That Joker prequel lost all steam. No body is talking about Man of Steel 2 anymore.

Joss seems determined to get a live action Batgirl movie off the ground and he has a good track record, so maybe that one could still happen. I doubt it, but maybe. The strong female protagonist trend is all the rage right now, so they might put that out just to get some of that female demographic money.I think they still going to do that Flashpoint film.. The problem I have with a Batgirl movie is the same I have with most DCEU movies. Why is there a Dark Knight Returns/ Death of Superman style Batman v Superman movie before we get a Public Enemy team up movie? Why is there a JLA movie before we get a good Trinity movie? And why do we need a Batgirl movie before we get a good Batman solo movie to really establish the city of Gotham?
