I have seen all of the transformers movie. I will not see this.
New producers on this one. No Micheal Bay

The trailer is boring af, however with exclusion of MB and the possibility of the inclusion of StarScream... I'll allow it.

This will probably be better than all the shit Transformer films that pre dated it.
i've skipped the last two or three transformers movies but this looks cool. nice g1 transformer feel , looks like none of that micheal bay crap
This actually looks like something worth seeing, unlike the last one with Marky Mark and the funky bunch
While I do agree this looks better, my expectations are still extremely low. Especially after seeing John Cena in the header and trailer.

I feel like they need to put that in the beginning of the trailer...
As for the trailer...
Things that got right...
1. Bumblebee looks like fucking Bumblebee
2. Starscream... Finally looks like fucking Starscream..
3. Setting this in the 80s is perfect..
Things they got wrong..
1. The timeline of the Transformers Universe is all over the fucking map.
2. This makes the Unique bond set between Sam and Bumblebee in Transformers 1... Look stupid.
3. Why does this remind me of The Shape of Water with Robots.
4. If the government was aware of Bumblebee in the 80s... Why the fuck did they seem so surprised to find Megatron and the other Transformers in Transformers 1?
Michael Bay is the producer on this though..
Looks like Starscream is going to be the main villain..
Also this Movie is going to be in for a Fight for it's life in December..

There are 4 (Count them... 4 BLOCKBUSTER FRANCHISE FILMS opening on the same day)..
Somebody is going to have to move something and even if you do.. It's not going to matter because you have MARY FUCKING POPPINS Opening the Next WEEKEND on Christmas...
I'm tripping out that None of these studios especially DC has blinked on this release date.
I almost feel like this needs to be a thread in on itself.. I can't remember this happening.
Update: Spider man was moved up to Dec 14.

IMO, the audience demo for mary poppins and transformers is two different audiences.
as a kid i would still be like fuck marry poppins. you can't be serious.
now aquaman vs transformers is a different equation. but after the aquaman i saw in justice league i think bumblebee will be okay. the james cameron movie is for hard sci-fi nerds (me.) spiderman has moved now but even then its an animated cartoon that has a very niche trailer. seems more arthouse imo.
mortal engines is gonna bomb like sucker punch. and i liked sucker punch. i think it is a very misunderstood and under rated movie.
bumblebee seems like it will have the sjw girls and action figure boys lined up.

I think the original voice of starscream is dead
nope. as an adult watching that it was pure trash.
i like it for the nostalgia. but it is horrible now. even the movie is trash.
as a kid i loved it all. but as an adult i see it was purely to sell toys because the quality is trash.
now if someone made a remastered version of the original, cleaned it up and fixed all of the horrible audio and editing i would be interested.
There still maybe some explosions
